Nadurra Wood Corp

Check out the Seine- Rustic NEUE Collection from Nadurra Wood Corporation. These floors are simply amazing. Not only do they look fantastic, they wear like rock. We have a large dog who scraps the floor with her legs to stand up. The floor never shows a mark. They clean up easily and look fantastic 4 years later. Never been so happy with flooring in my life.

Can't say enough good things about the guys at Nadurra. Their advice was spot on. They take whatever time that is needed with you and follow up.

We have now done a cottage with them as well and they are just so helpful. Ask for Michael if you can get him. He'll walk through all the choices with you, provide you with samples and be on the other end of the phone whenever you need him.

Hard to find this kind of quality and integrity in the construction or renovation business.

I bought open faced engineered oak flooring from Nadurra and installed it myself. The wood has a natural worn patina which I was attracted to but the purchased wood was far more weathered and full of nail holes than their sample in the showroom. To make matters worse the veneer on the engineered flooring varied between 3-4mm creating noticeable grooves once installed.

After a few years of installation I started seeing tiny holes in the flooring and realized it was infested with wood boring beetles which are impossible to remove. The insects have already created noticeable damage to the floor and may cost me thousands of dollars in either fumigation or replacement costs.

Apparently with salvaged wood especially wood that was used outdoors the common practice is to fumigate the wood before installation as wood beetles can survive the kiln process. This was not communicated to me by the sales staff at Nadurra and was not something I had done.

I am beyond outraged by this experience and am stuck with this infested wood until I can figure out what

Ian makes sure you fall in love with your new Nadurra floor; that's actually not surprising. What's surprising is if you don't become his friend for life!

Ian came for an inspection, gave pointers (I especially recall his concern about humidity in the house and how to correct it - apparently not good for people let alone floors) and so on. Really friendly, nice guy!

A floor is just wood, but It is comforting that there are honest, conscientious people that you can buy from.

Searched for eco friendly bamboo floors. Discovered Nadurra during research and loved the look and environmentally friendly manufacturing of the product. It is a floating floor with 5 inch wide boards. Easy to diy the install. Was a little sceptical of the relatively expensive underlay - only 1/8 inch thick but the claim was it absorbed sound extremely well. Happy to say the claim is true! Floor looks great, easy care. Would do it again.

We were looking for hardwood flooring that was environmentally friendly, durable, and relatively inexpensive. The people at Nadurra were very familiar with their products and explained the benefits very well. They also gave us a great deal for quality hardwood flooring (we got bamboo and oak). They were very kind and accommodating to our changing needs and plans. They held our wood for an entire year (we had delays in our construction). At the last minute, they checked the quality of the wood at the warehouse and found it not up to their standards (because of the long storage delay) and called us right away. There were very tiny split cracks at the ends of the bamboo boards (only noticeable up close). It was very stressful, but Michael at Nadurra was very helpful in working with us to find a solution. We were given a choice of keeping the hardwood but at a discount (and void warranty), or switch to another product (with warranty). It was a blessing in disguise, because we found a beautiful dark engineered wide plank (white oak) Rustic Neue hardwood that has alot of character (texture, stain, grain) to use on our main floor. We also got their Carbonized Composite bamboo flooring for the top floor which is hard as anything. Bamboo can chip still (with alot of force and with a tool), and it is not that pretty when it chips, but it takes a lot to chip.

Very attractive product which unfortunately does not age well at all. Within 18 months, I had to replace boards that warped, split and delaminated themselves once installed. The removal of installed boards is a surgery, and the post-sale service from Nadurra is non-existant. I would give the product a few more years of development before jumping on this eco-friendly product, unless you enjoy doing things twice and waste time and money. Trust me on this, I installed 900 sq.ft.

Nadurra provided locally sourced FSC maple for the floors for all of the rooms on the main and second floor of a high effeciency house we built in Toronto. Their wood knowledge was excellent and the service was good too. There was a delay in delivery because not all of the wood was available at the time we ordered but a perfectly acceptable substitute was quickly found and we have some very beautiful floors as a result. They also provided a very nice book about old-growth trees in Ontario and a hygrometer as a bonus gift. Highly recommended!

I was very pleased with the service I received at Nadurra. Ian Jackson was very accommodating and knowledgeable. I especially wanted to use wood that was from a forest that practised sustainable forestry and Nadurra was a great choice.
