Classic Touch Upholstery

I recently had a chaise lounge reupholstered by Classic touch and the experience was excellent... from beginning to end. Maria was great in helping me select a fabric that would match another sofa and suggested some details that would improve the chaise, the workman ship was exceptional !!! I am thrilled with the results and would not hesitate to use Classic touch again, or recommend this company to anyone.

I hired Classic Touch to re-finish and reupholster a settee with three chairs that had belonged to my great grandmother. It needed extensive work. Classic Touch did a wonderful job. I am very happy with the results!

I had a sofa that both ends reclined, as well as two recliner chairs, to be reholstered. We had bought them about 30 years ago. Maria was very helpful about the whole process. They picked up the furniture and returned it within the times she stated. the furniture looks great and I expect many more years of enjoying the looks and comfort of my furniture.

My father made a lounge chair in the 1960s. He was an upholsterer by trade. This chair is a family favourite, especially since he passed away a year ago. He used to recover it for us. When it came time to do this again, I contacted a few companies and chose Classic Touch. I have to say, they did an exquisite job, very fine upholstery, my dad would have been proud. And, they kept a little piece of my dad's work behind that brings tears to my eyes. I highly recommend Classic Touch. I will use them again. Super fantastic job. I just love my lounge chair!!!!

My husband and I inherited a chesterfield and love seat 11 years ago. The furniture was well-loved when we got it and was comfortable in our rec room; however we had always intended to have it reupholstered at some point and move it into the living room. At Newmarket Home Show this year we met the rep from Classic Touch Upholstery and were so impressed with their attitude and the information they provided to us that we immediately arranged for a free in-house estimate on our project.

The sales-rep who came to our home was well informed and helpful. She provided us with all the information we needed to proceed and we didn’t feel at all pressured, it was a very relaxed meeting. Of course we wanted the ‘new’ furniture to fit in with our existing chairs and the sale-rep made the whole process of choosing material etc. for our project painless. The pickup and return of the furniture was handled smoothly and as expected. One minor thing came up during the project and Anna phoned to explain the issue to us. She ensured that we understood our options and obtained our approval before proceeding. This minor change didn’t affect the price.

The ‘new’ chesterfield and love seat are now in our living room and we’re so pleased with how they look and feel. Maria even made us 2 throw cushions to finish off the look of the room. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would have no hesitation in recommending Classic Touch Upholstery to our friends and neighbours.

They say first impressions are important, and from the first our experience with Classic Touch has proved to be a joy. Peter visited our home to look over the chairs and tell us if it was worth reupholstering them. He showed us samples of fabric and pictures of before and after finished pieces. Then upon hearing that we didn't drive, he offered to take us to the factory in Mississauga to check out the facitilies and view more fabrics.
We had already picked out a fabric we liked for the chairs, and Maria helped us pick the perfect match for the contrasting colour. Classic Touch both picked up and delivered the chairs for us, and we were delighted at how they turned out. The fabric we picked had a design on it which was very meticulously placed so the two chairs match each other perfectly! They now look sophisticated. Also, the chairs have new padding and cushions, and they are more comfortable than when they were new.

We are very pleased with the outcome and happy we could give the chairs another 25 years of use!

My husband and I recently went to Classic Touch Upholstery to have our antique three-seat settee refurbished. This couch/settee is over 100 years old, had a broken support underneath, both front legs were broken and there was very little in terms of support (cushions and springs were totally falling apart). It was a mess and we were looking at just throwing it away. But then one day we saw a showcase at Gerrard Square and saw a couch very similar to what we had. After speaking with Vic he took our names and we are now the proud owners of a completely rebuilt and upholstered beautiful couch. It truly is a treasure! Maria and her team are craftspeople who truly know the art of restoration. Couldn’t be happier with the results and cannot speak highly enough of their work. If you’re considering throwing out an antique or not sure what to do with a piece of furniture that might have potential – trust me – give them a call!

Very professional estimator with lots of choices and ideas. Wood was finished beautifully and the seat of the large armchair was lifted and stuffing was added for extra comfort. The details were fantastic - double piping and the tufting on the 2 smaller chairs. We couldn't be more satisfied !!! They were delivered promptly when requested. We are now planning to do more work with them.

Sometimes, you want to keep something for sentimental reasons or budgetary. It was a bit of both but the results were fantastic. This is also a more environmentally conscious way to do things. One less sofa for the landfill.
