We had our roof reshingled by a company that did a very poor job. I contacted Wes Cheney for assistance with a water leak problem and he and his crew did an AMAZING job. I will recommend to anyone.

We are very pleased with the service, attitude and workmanship of Great Canadian Roofing. They did the work and clean up in one day and service afterwards has been great.

We used Great Canadian to reroof our house and replace fascia and eavestrough. They were prompt and did a very nice job. On top of that, they were very careful around the flowerbeds and shrubs and when they were done everything was cleaned up as if they were never there. I also like that Great Canadian is such a big supporter of the Stollery.

We are very pleased with our choice of Great Canadian for our new roof. Estimator Robert was the most thorough of the 4 people who visited us. In particular, he was the only one who gave us the assurances we were seeking about the roofing crews working safely. Others skirted the issue, and one even admitted that his crew would likely violate the OHS Code in order to work faster.

There was a small delay between when we signed off on our selection of GC and the start of the job. In particular, we were told materials would be delivered and the job started within a day or 2 period but in fact nothing happened for another week.

Materials and a bin finally arrived but there was still another delay of a few days before the crew arrived. This turned out to be a good thing as the weather was spotty.

When the crew finally arrived around noon on a Thursday, it was incredibly impressive how fast, efficient, and safely they worked. Subject to first on, last off, every crew member was tied off as required by the Code (ps - I was able to make a copy of the crews on-site hazard assessment. Working till the start of sunset, about 8 pm, they had about 2/3 of the roof done before they ran out of shingles.

There was a delay on Friday as they needed to get a 2nd bin out and more shingles needed to arrive. But once again, once they arrived the crew was awesome. They got the job done in about a day and a half of total work time including a very thorough clean up of our yard. The only issue with clean up is that the bin company didn't take the first bin away when the brought the 2nd one. Combined with a big evening wind storm, this resulted in some refuse winding up under the bins. the bin company didn't pick up either bin until after the crew was gone, so we were left to clean up a small amount of material after the bins were picked up from our RV pad.

Aside, from these small problems and a few hick-ups with telephone tag between us and GC production manager Bobby, we are very happy with GC,especially given that their quote came in well under all the competitors we solicited quotes from.

We bought an older home in Calgary and moved it up to Edmonton placing it on new foundation. Great Canadian did our roof and siding last year. This winter, we had them back to do the attic insulation. I was concerned with our ice damming issues and also how tight it was in our older home's attic. They came out while I was at work. My wife said they were very pleasant. Both Nguyen and Spencer were awesome, she said. When I got home you couldn't even tell they were there. Clean up was perfect. as spring approached I was worried about the ice damming. We never had a single issue this spring. Great job, GUYS!!

I was quoted by a few different companies in Edmonton and found GCR was the most reasonably priced.

I was disappointed that it would take approx. 3 weeks for an estimate to be done - but it is a busy time of year (spring). The estimator, Robert, was very professional and inspected outside and inside the attic.

Once I decided to choose GCR I did a BBB search and found reviews were within reason. I was pleased that work could begin witin the month.

I was disappointed and quite surprised at the lack of communication. I have a dog at home and have to make a few accomodations (move trailer etc) before the crew begins. Once a date for the material delivery was set I had NO further communication from GCR. Materials were delivered in the back alley in front of my garage door. My wife, myself and a neighbour had to move the pallet of roofing material inside our fenced backyard or it would have definately been taken.

Again a lack of communication - workers began the work without so much as a call - my neighbour had to call me and let me know they started work. I had to get my dog out of the house or the banging would have driven her crazy.

The workers were very efficent as they had the roof striped in a short time. They worked well into the night and got about 75% completed.

Workers came back the next day and again the day after to complete. Workers cleaned up after themselves but did leave quite a few cigarette butts in the yard - with a dog that is not cool.

Overall the job was completed in a good fashion and GCR need to improve communication with homeowners.

I am extremely happy with the job done by Great Canadian Roofing. All aspects of the job from estimate, to material delivery to completion were done in a timely manner. A lot of information was provided to assist in shingle selection, the work crew was very professional and pleasant and we are extremely happy with the final result. After the crew completed the job, Great Canadian's project manager inspected the site and required that certain areas be redone. I especially appreciate this service because I am not knowledgeable in this area and would not have known that there were issues in need of revision. Great Canadian reshingled my son's roof a few years ago and were excellent when called about warranty work. I highly recommend this company.

As this was an insurance job, I wasn't sure what to expect. From the moment that the rep met with us to the site clean-up, we have no complaints. Fantastic crew that worked on the roof, fast, friendly and very knowledgable.
