Sunik Roofing

Waited a month for them to show up to install the eavestrough. Once the job was completed there was no follow-up, until they wanted the bill paid.(3 weeks later)The crew partially cut some tree limbs to install eavestrough and didn't remove the limbs. They left them hanging from the tree. I phoned to see if they were going to have them removed, but I had paid bill already, so didn't hear back from Sunik. I also didn't give any permission to cut the limbs, and hope that the trees don't die this winter. I had asked the crew to leave some of the old eavestrough in my backyard, but this wasn't done. I inquired about this, and was told I could come by their dumpster, and pick some up. I was initially going to get them to replace my roof (a $15000 job) but was glad that I went with another company to do this. Their prices were the same, but the warranty was 5 times longer with the other company. I certainly would not recommend this company to any of my friends. They could learn some things from the competition.
It took me writing a review on HomeStars to get a response from this company. I am still waiting for any action to occur for the follow up promises that have been made from Sunik Roofing. It has been 3 months since your reply, and statement that "he is anxious to make this up to you". I guess he is not as anxious as me to get this rectified! I find it hard to believe that in a city of over 1 million people, that an arborist can not be found to take care of the mess that you people left behind. Now that the snow is gone, I am also picking up screws and eavestrough nails that were left behind. Your company is all talk and no action. Please don't insult my intelligence by making more empty service promises. All I ask is that you properly finish the job that I paid for!

Sunik Roofing is an outstanding company with high standards and I highly recommend them! This is hard to find these days in a city where contractors feel entitled to lazy work as work is always available. I had my roof and siding done after a hail storm. I will be honest and say I did have multiple problems with them. Humans will make mistakes and people are not perfect. But, it was how the problems were resolved that impressed me. I have always been able to have mature, professional, and reasonable discussions with Sunik Roofing. All problems were resolved in a manner that I feel all parties were respected. The management at Sunik Roofing is outstanding and will go above expectations to make sure you are happy and their reputation is sustained. I would highly recommend Sunik Roofing!

Federico {Fred] and his three man crew were great and they worked from Easter Thursday thru Easter Sunday. They did a great job with daily pick up / clean up. The roof looks great and I have had many compliments from neifgbours I know and one's that have introduced themselves.

Sunik replaced our roof, and I am happy with the work that was done. The work was done well, we had a bit of a glitch along the way (mainly due to weather problems) but they dealt with these issues in a reasonable and timely way. Anytime I contacted them they were quick to respond which was appreciated.

They were awesome. They put in a whole new roof and we were quite happy with the work that was done.They were punctual, cleaned up and came back to follow up on the project. Sunik was recommended to us by a number ff family and friends who also had good experiences, and they gave the cheapest quote.

Sunik Roofing was great! The did the roof and the eavestroughs. They were fantastic to work with, we have a complicated roof and there was always someone there to supervise the work from 7:30am until dark until it was complete. We have dogs and I was impressed with the effort them made to keep the job clean the whole time they worked, ensuring our dogs didn’t pick anything up. They were excellent!

The crew did a great job even though they went really fast. I was unsure about the look of the roof, but once the shingles settled it looked great! My wife especially likes how it looks.

Marcus was very professional and patient when answering my question and addressing my concerns. I also especially appreciated not having to make payment until the job was COMPLETE, this shows the integrity of Sunik.

After the hale storm in 2012, my insurance referred us to Sunik and replaced my roof in early 2013 (believe me I insist for Spring but they just showed up one Saturday). First of all the crew was really slow and sloppy and it took them 5 days to finish my roof. They had to re-order the shingles three times because their estimation was low. The last time, they delivered the shingles, they left it in the middle of my drive way in the evening, without notifying me and in the morning when I was backing up, I damaged my bumper.
Then few month later, I started to feel I have pigeons in my soffit. My neighbour who has been here since this house has been built told me that there has been no history of pigeons before. After spending good chunk of money, I found that an opening was created during re-roofing by careless job and careless inspection (or I call it no inspection). So now I have a lot of pigeons in my soffit and possible attic and I need to spend money on exterminators to get them out and changing soffits which is full of pigeons droppings. Then I need to fight with insurance to see if I can get my money back. What a headache for a simple roof job.

Needed a new roof, Sunik was prompt and very courteous, they gave us lots of information to work with and the project was completed in only 2 days! Would recommend this company to anyone!
