Appliance Service

My dishwasher machine was making funny noises and not cleaning my dishes properly. I tried several times to fix it by myself and call other appliance services but no one was willing to help me! My wife called Bayiew Home Appliance Centre and spoke to Rose. The company was able to fix my machine in several days without any troubles. The total repair time took an hour and it was very smooth. Since then my dishes are coming out spotless!

Flooded House

After our basement flooded, the appliances (washer and dryer) were not functioning properly. I called Maytag and they referred me to Bayview Home Appliance Center, I gave them a call and after discussing my problem they set up an appointment immediately. After arriving they had both machines up and running within an hour. I really appreciated the service.

Appliance service

The stove was taking about 20 minutes to heat up to the right temperature. We called Bayview Home Appliance Centre Ltd. 16 Sims Cres. Unit 21 Richmond Hill ON L4B 2P1

August 29th your serviceman came out, and said that the Broil was OK but the ignitor needed. to be replaced (as per invoice) We paid $73.45 for the service call..

August 30th Stove worked OK , so we cancelled the next appointment.

A week and a half later the old problem reappeared so we called the serviceman and asked him to come back with a new ignitor.

The Serviceman came back, was there for approx 2 1/1 hours and replaced the ignitor. It appeared to my husband and I he did not know what he was doing ( he didn’t even know how to remove the bottom oven-drawer my husband had to figure it out).

After replacing the ignitor he said he wanted to test the control panel, however by the time he was finished my control panel was completely dead and nothing worked on the stove including the broiler. He then proceeded to tell me that he was unsure of what he had just done but that I now needed a new control panel & sensor. I told him I was not comfortable with what had just happened & I wanted him to put back my original ignitor.

I called your office and another serviceman was sent, to see if they could fix the control panel that the previous serviceman had damaged. The serviceman was very careful not to comment & informed me he could do nothing to reconnect my control panel.

I then called Sears service, $88.09 for the service call. They informed me that the ignitor in my stove was not the original ... in other words your service person had not put back my original ignitor & the one in place was not the original, and that my control panel was damaged ... but the source of the problem was most likely the sensor based on the original problem reported.

The control panel was damaged at a cost of $200.99 and replacement cost for the ignitor was $80.99. The actual cost should have been only for the sensor, $20.99 plus tax & the service call $88.09, totaling $111.80. My bill from Sears was $518.27. Your serviceman cost us $406.47 and left us without an oven for 2 weeks.
Your company needs to reimburse us for the original service call of $73.45 plus additional damages, of $406.79 totaling $479.92. I have attached the original bill from your serviceman along with the Sears bill.

We have sent this complaint On September 30th and October 9 2008. We have received no response as of Oct 15 2008.

Over the stove Microwave

Over the hood microwave repair.
After the first 2 weeks they said "oh we have to order the parts first".
Then when the called to set up the appointment they called at 9:45 PM both times.

When the service man came over he he did not take his shoes off, broke a plate on the sink, cut his hand and smeared blood on the backsplash, and did not even attempt to wipe it after I offerred him a bandaid.
Fianlly jammed his hand through the alum. vent while trying to place the unit back on the wall bracket and was surprised that I was requesting a replacement at his cost??? His response was that it was only a filter and still functions as one.

At the end the unit was still not mounted on the 2 brackets correctly even though it appears that it will not go anywhere.
Maybe I should have kicked a dent in his vehicle door, I told him that I was sure it would still start!

Complete butchers with no repect!
