Terrific. Jason (sales manager) and Scott and Eric were great! Jason was great in helping us get started and recommending an engineering company when we needed drawings from the town. The cutting crew Jason sent did a great job with no over cuts as he promised. Scott and Eric took their time and were as careful and easy to deal with as the other window job we had them do. We went with them again for this project because we had four windows cut and installed as well as the other basement windows replaced about a year and a half ago. Boulevard was great - very good products, excellent customer service. Thank you to all of them.

Boulevard Exteriors came highly recommended by a friend. I was about to call Boulevard to get a quote, when I stumbled across their booth at the Home Show in Calgary. I met Jason & he agreed to drop by the next day to give me a quote for the windows. He came & provided the quote which I Immediately accepted, rather than getting other quotes. (My friend who recommended Boulevard is extremely picky & he thought Boulevard did a great job & I saw the work they did for him.) The installers, Eric & Scott did an amazing job at doing the install & they didn't mind me watching what they were doing. They were very friendly & professional. Although I only had 2 windows replaced, when I am ready to replace others, I will definitely call Boulevard.

Vanessa and April were absolutely amazing right from the first encounter with both ladies. Both are great listeners and have great ideas. Vanessa's whole focus was on customer satisfaction. We made numerous changes and she worked with us in a professional manner on all the changes. There were no surprise up charges. Eric, the site supervisor, was excellent to work with. He was receptive to our changes. The installation crew were very professional and their workmanship was excellent. We were very pleased with the final product.

I was impressed from my first call and immediate followup by Vanessa, who assessed the situation and made up the quote, followed by April helping me choose designs and colours. Both these girls are great listeners and communicators as I wanted a "Timeless Look/Update" on my 42 year old house. They were very professional, patient, and took the time to explain the latest products that were available. I chose weathered looking shingles around the Loft up top, and Hardie Board for the main siding with hard insulation, new black roof that was installed in a day ahead of schedule. The siding was started the day after I made my decision to go ahead. It is still in progress as we started late. Doug and Mike are very polite and always let me know what they are doing each day. They are very precise in their installations and work weather permitting.
I am also having new soffits, eaves, fascia, door and fixtures, metal aluminum railings and glass put around my deck. Plus, the posts and beam under the deck have been boxed out with panels and trim, and painted a contrasting colour. They look awesome. I will report more and include photos before and after, when the job is completely finished. Yes, I would absolutely recommend Boulevard to my friends and neighbours who like what they see already.

We had five windows replaced, the garage sided with vinyl and the front of the house sided with hardie board. Using Home Stars, we obtained three quotes. Boulevard was not the cheapest or the most expensive but they did have the best estimator. It is so obvious that Maurice has “been there & done that”. He instilled confidence that Boulevard knew what they were doing.

The project did not run smoothly. Two of the five windows were manufactured upside down; the water drain was at the top of the window not the bottom. It would seem to me that there are at least four times in the process to inspect the product; when it come off the assembly line, when it is being prepared for shipping, when it arrives in the warehouse of the installation company and finally when the installers pick it up to take it to the job site. If any of these inspections happened due diligence was not performed well.

By the time the defect was discovered, the old windows had been removed and basically demolished so the installers had no choice but to install the defective windows.

With cooperation from Boulevard, we had scheduled the window install first followed by the siding install so there was no danger of the window install damaging the hardie board. Since there were two defective windows and we were leaving to go out of the country for a month, Boulevard installed the siding and re-ordered two new windows. We would have to take our chances on damaging the hardie board removing the defective windows and replacing them with new windows.

There were a couple of minor blemishes on the siding install. Two boards were left very loose, one end of them had not been tacked into place and one of my downspouts was not reconnected. These were fixed while we were out of the country.

The new windows were ready for installation when we returned and the installers removed the defective windows and installed the new ones with no damage to the hardie board.

There were a few minor painting touch ups to finish the job which were done promptly, although I had to convince the project manager to come and do the final walk through.

While I am not completely satisfied with the entire project, the finished product looks great and Boulevard was very cooperative about scheduling around our vacation and there was no push back when I demanded that the windows be replaced, not repaired. For the most part, the window installers and the siding installers were professional and competent and were easy to have around the house. Basically, nice guys!

Boulevard did a good job for me, the finished product is what we were aiming for. However, I cannot hold them blameless for the defective windows. The defect should have been caught upon receipt of the windows from the factory and it obviously was not noticed. I suggested in an email to Jason that they improve their receiving process and according to the installers, the windows they picked up had an “inspected” sticker on them. Also a five minute walk around by the siding installers would have discovered the glitches of the installation.

From the very start of this project I had excellent service. My first contact was Vanessa. She walked me through the process and helped me chose colours and accessories. She also talked to me about other things that I could do to my home once the siding was complete. These were only suggestions and there was no pressure to go with them. My next contact was Chris. Chris and his father Dave were the two that started the installation. I could not have had better people working on my home. They came in and told me exactly what they would be doing and how long it would take. They were joined by Pat who again I have nothing bad to say about him. All three were fabulous people and a pleasure to have working on my house. I also had dealings with Erik and he was helpful when I needed questions answered. The last person I came in contact with was the lady in the office. I'm sorry I do not remember her name but she was very pleasant and could not do enough to help. Overall my experience with Boulevard Exteriors could not have gone better as everyone was there when I needed to talk to them and the job they did was fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of having the siding changed. I had a really good experience. Thank you all for such a good job.

Boulevard provided excellent, precise and professional service. They replaced two walkout basement windows with triple-paned windows and installed 4 new triple-paned windows upstairs and on our main floor. They were excellent communicators from Maurice the salesman, to Brett, Scott and Eric the installers - they kept making sure of exactly what we wanted and that we were happy with the result. They made sure we were installing things the right way from safety code issues to how we wanted them to open to maximize air-flow through the house. Having had a less than positive experience with another local window company, the constrast was clearly obvious to us. They helped us with the building permit we needed to obtain here in Okotoks and the inspector was very satisfied with their work. We are now enjoying the extra light, the views and air-flow from our beautiful windows. Thank you Boulevard!

Maurice was a dream to deal with from Boulevard Exteriors. Completely professional, completely reliable. We were in constant communication, and he was great giving us advice on what needed to be replaced, and which items were in good shape for the exterior of our home.

April was also fantastic to deal with in helping us select the best colours and options. Mike the installer was extremely knowledgable, ensuring the installation was top-notch.
