I am terrified of heights & would never go on the roof. But when I saw my shingles looking like the edge of lasagna noodles from the ground, even I knew that can’t be good. I called for three quotes and John was the second, after meeting him I cancelled the third. He explained how shingles have changed and improved since I last did my roof 16 years showed me samples of the materials and explained what he would do. Went on the roof, took photos, and walked me through the whole process. I got the quote that night or the next day. I signed it back right away.
His team showed up @7:30 just before they said they would and got to work right away. The didn’t stop except for a short lunch break. They were super polite and cleaned up after themselves. If you are super procrastinator like me, just call him.

We needed our roof to be reshingled and to replace our skylight, gutters and add gutter guards. John was recommended to us by our neighbours who had used this company for over 15 years. John came to our house to do an assessment, answer any questions and give us an estimate. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. The day of the job, four workers showed up on time and did a great job replacing and fixing everything on our list. John even stopped by a couple times to see how the day was going. The day after the job was done, John came back to our house to give us a breakdown of the job and to answer any final questions we had. We would highly recommend them!.

The roof looks fantastic! We're very happy with the work, and John's crew was great - we couldn't believe how well they tidied up at the end of each day. They even brought out a leaf blower and blew all the leaves off our long mutual driveway. The shingles they used are much better quality than some of the other companies we got quotes from, and only for a minimal upcharge. Worth it!

This is an excellent, local, family-owned business. From start to finish the crew and owner were prompt, friendly, hard-working and diligent. We had our entire roof replaced (sloping shingle and flat roof). The quality of the work was excellent and we were provided photos of the stages of the work and the finished product. In addition, the final invoice matched the original estimate, thus no surprises. The owner worked with us all the way and always responded to Emails. Payment methods are also flexible. Last night we had a terrific thunderstorm and downpour - result: no leaks or dripping onto the porch or deck or drips running down the side walls. Without any reservation we endorse and recommend this thoroughly professional company.

We were very happy with the roof replacement that the J Stewart Roofing team performed and would highly recommend his services. John responded to our emails and calls in a timely manner, and even helped in coordinating directly with our neighbours (semi-detached) to have the entire roof replaced at the same time. He came by each day in person that the job was being done to personally check on the work. Dan was also very patient and helpful in answering all our questions. The crew was respectful of our property and neighbours' property, laying down tarp to protect decks and doing a thorough clean-up each day. We were provided with in-progress and final photos after the job as well. The new roof looks fantastic and we now have peace of mind knowing that our home is well protected. It was a real pleasure dealing with John and his crew. Our flat roof was leaking which we only discovered when one of our bedroom ceilings was showing signs of extensive water damage. We called John and he was responsive and helpful from the first point of contact - he sent a detailed quote very promptly and did his best to schedule us in quickly so we wouldn't incur more water damage inside the house. His crew were courteous and clean and they tidied the sight prefectly by the end of the job.
