In 2013 I hired Ram Cleaning to do a thorough clean of a new home and I was happy with the process and result. Price was certainly competitive. Cleaners were polite, professional and punctual.
I happily recommend Ram Cleaning to anyone looking for a reputable cleaning company.

Brought my area rug in to get cat urine smell out of it. When I went to pick it up I could smell the cat urine smell as they carried it past me so I questioned it. They indicated they could use an enzyme but that would cost extra. I asked about whether the enzyme would still be effective after the rug had been washed. I was advised to leave the carpet there and that the manager would call me and talk to me on the Monday. Months later I have not heard a word from Ram. I would never go back to this place nor would I recommend it. Poor results and poor customer service.

We signed up for bi-weekly cleanings and although they did a great job at cleaning certain things (the kitchen for instance was fantastic!), I always found floor cleaning sub-standard. They wouldn't go under the furniture (couches and coffee table) in the living room nor were the hardwood floors ever particularly clean. I stopped services when I cleaned a small area and my cloth was completely filthy. I washed another area of the floor with the same result. There were always a few items on the check list that were never done and I didn't want to call up after ever dingle visit with a list of items to clean.

I was really pleased with the service I received. I wasn't completely satisfied after the initial cleaning, so I called to ask someone to come look at the carpet (in case my expectations were unreasonable). Another technician was sent to the house, and he cleaned the carpet again, for no charge. It came out much cleaner. Great customer service!

Christian T came to our home and cleaned our ducts. He did an Excellent job. Very respectful.
Joda came to take down and put up our silhouette blinds. We have a very difficult window to get to and Joda did not hesitate about finding a way to take the blinds down.
Danni H was the one who cleaned my silhouette blinds. Forgot how nice they looked. Excellent job.

On Aug 5, a technician from Ram carpet cleaning came to my apartment. He cleaned an indoor carpet and an outdoor patio carpet. I left my apartment while he did his work. When the job was finished the tech met me outside the apartment to pay the bill. He only reported a few small stains that could not be removed from the outdoor carpet. He did not mention any damage in the shape of a large rectangular in my outdoor carpet.

On Aug 6, I returned to my apartment and found a rectangular melted in my outdoor carpet. I immediately tried to contact Ram through their regular business line as well as their emergency line. No one was available to take my call.

On Aug 7, I called Ram again to report the damage. A supervisor came to my apartment. He looked at the spot for 5 minutes and concluded that it was not Ram's damage. He did not take any photos nor measurements to bring back to the company. He concluded because the patio is close to my kitchen it must have been a hot pan that burnt my carpet. I told him I had pictures of the carpet before Ram's cleaning that show there was no melted spot he continued to blame me for the melted spot.

On Aug 10, I emailed the company stating I did not wish for the company to replace the carpet but only to refund my $145 as their service did not meet industry standards. Ram denied my request. I placed a complaint with the better business bureau. Their investigation is ongoing.

On Aug 11, still upset with the poor customer service I had received I continued to research my situation. I discovered my outdoor carpet is composed of olefin fabric. This fabric is anti-mildew, hydrophobic and resistant to stains. It has an extremely low melting point and it is not recommended by the manufacturer to be professionally cleaned. Upon learning this information I called 2 more reputable carpet-cleaning companies in Calgary. They refused to clean outdoor carpets because, "the water in their machines is too hot and would melt the carpet."

On Aug 12, I shared my new found information with the better business bureau.

On Aug 19, I received a response from Ram through the better business bureau stating they still do not take responsibility for the damage to my carpet.

I am dissatisfied customer of Ram carpet cleaning.

Wanted to express my thank you to Danni who assisted me the moment I walked into Ram. She corrected an error on the measurement of one of the carpets to be cleaned, thus saving me money. The two area carpets were cleaned to my satisfaction. Good job!

Fantastic customer service. Delivered the exact timing that was quoted. The quality of their work is always top notch. We were very satisfied with the cleaning of the hunter douglas blinds.
