Pave Guard

Company recently changed name to Paveguard because of all the issues they have with the BBB. I had the driveway done from this company, and within a year, there were major cracks forming down the length of the driveway. I didn't worry too much at first because of their 2 year warranty. In the end it was like pulling teeth to have them come and check out the issues. They finally offered a free seal, (although this wouldn't solve the problem) not to mention void their own warranty which I suspect they were trying to do.

We liked the work when it was done. Attention was made not to put tar on the grass or sidewalk,
However, we were given a time for the final paving and it was not done when it was promised. We had to phone to find out when it would be completed. We liked that fact that after the limestone base was put down, the driveway had time to harden before the tar was laid.

We were promised that Pave Guard would come back the following year to seal our drive way. After all summer of ignoring us and promising they would be by the next week to seal our driveway we have given up. They use this as a selling tool and then never follow through. Over 3 months of calling them and them either not returning calls or just not showing up. Finally in Oct they called saying they would be at hour house in a few hours, after not talking to them for many weeks. Thing is we were on our way out of town if they had called the day before we could have moved our car out of the driveway for them to do it. All of this was very upsetting and very unprofessional. Looks like we are not the only ones to have this happen to us. We have now told them to forget about it.

The driveway was well done and that is all I can say.

Last year Paveguard did my driveway and this year they were suppose to come to seal it. This year whole summer is gone but nobody came to finish the job. The material they used to make the driveway is also not good and enough to cover the driveway properly.

Completely not satisfied....

They did driveway for me 2009. they finish it in 2 weeks.

this year , my driveway have a lot problem , sink , crack...

bad company , they just want to get money soon.

1. showed up when they said they would and kept in close contact throughout the projects with no surprises
2. Danny listened to me, with great ideas of how to handle specific issues and didn't just try to do what was the easy solution
3. Where very concerned about product quality, not just trying to get it done quick. The work turned out exceptionally well, no cracks, no surface spalling, etc. it looks just like we hoped it would. I am so glad I called Danny my friends and family loves the work THANKS DANNY

contracted pave guard danny came out his estimate was app the middle range looked like he knew what he was talking about. Once his crew came out I knew the job would get done RITE. Highly reccomend this company.

Well April Danny came around and told me he was doing the area and would i be interested, Being that our driveway was falling apart and expecting twins in October is said i would be interested in a quote so he went out measured up my driveway gave me the price $1200 and the options i said i would consider it. A couple of days later this character from another company showed up i had seen his sign on one of our neigbours lawns and said who he was the owner of the company ect.. Gave me a number off the top of his head of about $200 cheaper than Danny however this was just from looking at my driveway. I told him to write out a quote and i would consider it.. Well he replied with a "My hand shake is all i have to offer.. my word is my life" well sorry we are not in the 1800's anymore!

So i kind of brushed him off.. and had a couple of other quote's all with in the same range of what Danny said. Over the next couple of weeks i seen his signs popping up all over the place when he came back to my door. "Hey mike, had not heard from you.. Hope all is well and wondering if you considered us for your driveway". The only guy of the 5-6 companies to have come back so i was on board..

He did up the contract and decided to try and see what i could do with haggling :D And when i seen the $1200 price i said... "Oh i thought it just over a thousand last time you qouted me" No harm in trying.. lol

He said he might have made a mistake but he would double check it.. went back measured everything up, punched away on his calculator and said he was sorry but $1200 was the price for a driveway my size. He said he could not offer the great service he does and the 2 year warranty for any less. So i gave in.. Gave him my deposit.

Yesterday i got home to my freshly paved driveway and it looks awesome.. Wish i had done it last year now :D Later that evening one of his crews came by to collect the rest of payment however before collecting they asked me a bunch of questions to make sure i was happy with everything, and educated me on what needed to be done with keeping it looking good for years to come.

All in all i would say dealing with Danny was a 10+ experience!

I called Danny from pave guard, he done my friends driveway two years ago. he gave me sale price and did an amazing job. i have no problems referraling Danny to friends or family. Thanks Danny.
