I contacted Bond to create a spanning open concept between the kitchen, hallway, living room and dining
room, by replacing the attic beams and portion of the center main floor load bearing wall with a single LVL
beam.

Service was prompt. I had a couple of minor issues but Darwin managed to resolve these really quick.

Darwin and his team finished our undeveloped basement, created an office out of a formal dining area on our main floor, arranged for the installation of air-conditioning, and did a number of other smaller fixes for us. Both his team and the contractors he chooses to use were patient with us, professional, clean-mouthed, and finished the job on time. No complaints. We’d recommend them to friends and family wanting to get quality work done.

We would highly recommend Bond Construction!! Darwin has excellent project management skills, is an excellent communicator and unflappable problem solver! He said the job would take 7 weeks and we were done in 6! All of the trades that came were extremely professional and highly skilled. I can’t say enough about how impressed we were with Darwin and the Bond Construction crew!! We will definitely be calling Darwin for any further renovations that we need!!

Hired Darwin through my designer Maria Pasche (Rojas). We had 4 quotes and went with Darwin. His quote was reasonable and he seemed easy to work with.

Darwin was totally on budget. The crew was polite, worked hard everyday and cleaned up too. Their quality of work was excellent. Darwin is quick to respond to any emails, texts or phone calls. Our bathroom reno looks amazing and we love it!

We've hired Bond Construction for two projects. The first one I had complete blue prints and city permits already. The second one was a shower install and small reno in the basement. I had nothing and we figured it out as we went along.

Both projects went well.

For the positives:

1. Price was reasonable. Not the cheapest, but in the mix with others I bid the work out to.

2. Great communication, almost every day I would hear from Darwin or the lead on site. Sure issues happened, there were delays and some additional costs, but the cause of these were communicated immediately so I never felt either of the projects were out of control.

3. Overall the work seemed pretty good. There were some minor deficiencies (couldn't get the new faucet to work and the caulking keeps coming off the windows) but overall pretty good. Darwin fixed these deficiencies 6 months after the project was completed.

The negatives were pretty minor, and I addressed those directly to Darwin (the owner) and he was responsive about them.

The Bond team did a great job with the reno project on the barhroom adjacent to the masterbed room.

Replaced tub with tile shower , installed heated tile floor. New custom vanity with granite.

Great team. Pleasure to have around the house.

We contacted Darwin this summer regarding new tile flooring in two bathrooms (one due to a leaking toilet) and the laundry room plus installation of new low-flush toilets in three bathrooms. We were very impressed with his promptness and accuracy in estimating the job to be done and in delivering the renovations. His crew was most efficient, capable and thorough. All aspects of the job were completed most satisfactorily. We would definitely call on Bond Construction for any further renovations.

After having more than 10 different contractors out for a quote, I knew Darwin was the right choice right from the initial hand shake.

Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. This is not a weekend warrior kind of crew, these guys know their stuff.

I was quoted on a pressure treated deck and fence. When asked if I wanted green treated or brown treated wood, I asked if the cost was the same, knowing in fact that it was. Darwin was the only contractor, of the 10 I had out, that was honest and said the cost was the same, it just came down the preference. Every other "guy" wanted to charge extra for the brown treated.

Deck was built very sturdy with a high attention to detail while maintaining current building codes. Fence is equally well built with obvious pride of workmanship. When I look straight at the very first fence post, all the other posts disappear behind it, they really took the extra time to get it done right.

Darwin also offered a discount as 2 of my neighbors also decided to hire him for their fences. I didn't have to ask for this, he offered.

I will 100% be calling Darwin when it's time to develop our basement, highly recommend!

We hired Bond Contracting and Construction to build a new fence for our backyard. The Bond team were very efficient and professional and worked very hard to have it done very quickly. We would definitely hire them again.

We were looking to finish our basement as we had a baby coming and wanted the extra room. Darwin was very quick to respond to our initial request and was very understanding when we decided to think about it.
After we reviewed the quote and compared to others, we went with Darwin and his team and are so happy we did. We had a short timeline and he was true to his word that he would get it all completed before the baby arrived. The process was so simple and it was a dream to deal with him and the rest of his team and his contractors.
We have shown many family and friends the completed basement and everyone is complimentary on how it looks like the rest of the house and the how great it turned out!
