Kitchen Land

Kitchenland completed a full renovation of our kitchen and our bathroom. Alex came to our house and did the measurements and helped us come up with the designs that best suited our family. Gregory supervised the two projects and was very professional. The projects were completed in the time that had been promised by Kitchenland. We get the “WOW! this looks like a showroom!” reaction from all our family and friends when they come to visit and see the completed renovations. Kitchenland and its workers were very trustworthy and we were very comfortable having the workers at the house even when we were not home.

We are repeat customers of Kitchenland as they did a kitchen renovation for us a few years ago and we have received many compliments.
We needed a walk- in shower added to our two piece washroom. Alex came up with a design that suited our needs.
Gregory supervised and worked the entire project . He was extremely intuitive to our needs.He is highly skilled and ensures that the work is done expertly.He worked weekends and into the evening.A beautiful hardwood floor was also installed in the adjoining bedroom.We are thrilled with our new walk-in shower and all the work that was done.We would highly recommend Kitchenland.

When we finally decided to redo our kitchen, we looked for someone who would be able to provide us with a contractor and all the trades we needed for our project – from cabinets to flooring, walls, electrical, gas line, plumbing etc. We chose Kitchen Land after reading about them on Home Stars. The reviews gave us confidence to approach them and we were not disappointed. Alex, who designed our kitchen, is straight forward, accommodating and knowledgeable, his estimates right on. He gave us a start date, a budget and there were no surprises. Everything went smoothly and according to plan. For that we’d like to especially thank Gregory who oversaw the project. Having other projects on hand, we never felt that ours was not a priority; Gregory and his team often worked on the weekend to make sure that things were finished on time. And of course, we could always count on Halina to answer any questions we had. Every trades person working on our kitchen project was very professional, polite and efficient. Thanks especially to Shapur, who did an excellent job tiling our backsplash.

Ordered new kitchen from Kitchen Land. Great price and great quality! Very professional instaler Roman. He answered all extra questions and did a high quality job. Better then order from IKEA there you have to make all measurements by yourself and pay for installation.

We thought about refacing, but the savings weren't significant enough to warrant a mishmash of refaced cabinets and new cabinets. In addition, we wanted someone that would take care of everything from modifications to the plumbing and electrical if need be.

After getting a few quotes for refacing and replacing the cabinets we decided to go with Kitchen Land. We met with Alex and he was extremely helpful in setting us up with G shaped cabinetry that was functional, aesthetically appealing and met our desires for functionality that worked for us. He also worked with us to get to a price point that we were comfortable with.

Alex did mention that there might be some change in the quoted price for unforeseen things. And there were, but mainly for extra hardware and the difference was minor in relation to the total cost. In addition, he credited us for work that wasn't done. They did not use this as an opportunity to pad their profits.

We were happy with the work and thoughtfulness show by Alex and Gregory. We are quite happy with the results. We will definitely consider them again when it's time to renovate the bathrooms.

The only area that could use a bit of improvement is communication. Nothing that would have affected the outcome of the work done. The project took some extra time because of the choosing of the granite and its preparation for the installation. Although Alex had given the time frame prior to the commencement of the project we would have liked some friendly reminders that it was time to pick the granite we wanted and that the next schedule payment was due.

In addition, there was an occasion or two when messages were left with the office and not returned. And we asked to have a piece of granite that was removed for the sink opening finished so that we could use it a "cutting" board we don't recall being advised that it would have cost $50. We weren't expecting to pay more for a piece of granite that we thought we had already paid.

Nothing major on the communication front, but a small thing that could have relieved possible anxiety on everyone's end and addressed any misunderstanding there could have been.

Very pleased with the kitchen order/installation process. Very knowledgable, patient and accomodating without being pushy. Alex assisted with the order/ pre-measurement,Tatiana helped to facilitate/co-ordinate countertops/payment and advice.Gregory delivered, answered pre/post-install questions,cleanup. This family run business runs like a well-oiled machine and was the best trade experience we've had!

We are very satisfied with their services, they have made our kitchen clean and classic. They are very affordable and deliver quality work on time. Good Work - We really recommend them!

We found Kitchen Land through a Google search & we were impressed with the reviews on their website and when we visited their store location we were very impressed with their friendliness, professionalism and expertise. So we decided to book our kitchen upgrade with Kitchen Land. From the meetings we had with Oleksandr to choosing the cupboards, granite countertops and backsplash, everything went along seamlessly. The workers who installed everything were meticulous, accurate and went out of their way to make everything work with the unique points of our existing kitchen. Not to mention they finished on time and as to the agreed upon budget. We are extremely happy with our finished kitchen and would highly recommend Kitchen Land to family and friends.
