We recently had AM Furniture refinish some furniture that we inherited from my parents. There was a lovely walnut set- 2 bureaus & a boudoir chair that had been painted. It turned out beautifully.
At the same time, we had a glass front oak bookcase refinished & this is is lovely piece in our living room now.
We will be happy to pass these pieces on to our son.
Andy stuck to his quote & promised timeline as well.

Andy is a very personable and friendly guy. He listened to what we wanted and more than delivered! He declined payment until the project was completed which you don’t expect in these times and wanted our complete satisfaction before we settled up. My husband and I highly recommend him.

Andy's first project with us was a homemade maple serving tray, made by my husband for our son and his family. Unaware of the challenge of staining on maple we went to Andy for help. He stripped off the stain that didn't take and put on a dark stain and new finish on it. We were over the moon happy when we saw what Andy had done to save the tray. With confidence in Andy's work we went to him with our next project - a solid oak coffee table and two end tables made by my husband about 25 years ago - his first woodworking project. We loved the three pieces of furniture however the finish over the years had yellowed and our taste in furniture colour had changed. Andy took on the challenge of stripping all three pieces and refinished them in a dark brown. He did an awesome job!!! We will enjoy them for another 25 years! We would recommend Andy and his work to anyone wanting high quality craftsmanship for new or older projects. He really is a craftsman at what he does. We are thrilled with the results on all our projects and would be ready to let Andy tackle our next finishing project!!

I contacted Andy by phone to do the job . He was quick and organized to get my pieces to his shop . They are precious family heirlooms and I felt I could trust Andy with this job! My husband and I were very happy with his work ! One piece was returned to its original beauty and the other painted white and it looks amazing ! I love both pieces, very happy with the great job that was done. There was repair work too that was done beautifully.
Then he organized to have them delivered back to my home ! The furniture was treated and handled with care !

We have two old Switzer chairs that were cracked and faded. We did not realize how badly damaged they were until we got them back from AM after they were refurbished. Excellent workmanship and we highly recommend them.

Andy, took what we thought was a ruined piece of furniture and gave us back a piece that now sits prominently in our home.
After coming to my home to collect the piece of furniture, he removed all of the layers of stuff that had been applied over the year. He discovered we had a lovely oak piece of furniture.
After discussion about what was the best way to move forward, Andy produced the exact piece that we asked him to create.
His work in my opinion is artistry. He rescued this vanity table that I thought we were going to have to dispose of for sure.
Andy did the work in a timely fashion, he is a kind person to work with and easy to talk to about what you desire for the pieces you ask him to restore.
I highly recommend Andy and his work. I would definitely return to him for myself and/or recommend him to my friends.

My Mom’s curio cabinet was faded and old. I wanted to have it refinished to match my furniture in our new home. The end result was amazing. I have something beautiful in my living room that reminds me of my mom.

Our kitchen cabinets had been damaged by grand babies walkers and toys. They were able to fix the scratches and dents without having to repair every cabinet to have them match. Everyone said it could not be done but the results were amazing.

Excellent work. Andy did an amazing job. He guarantees his work which is comforting. I would definitely hire Andy again to refinish other treasured pieces of furniture as well as recommend him to friends and acquaintances.

A beautiful transformation from a dining room set that was lack lustre to a set that looks brand new - even though its 25 years old. Also he redid a table that is over 60 years old. It too looks brand new.
