Otto's Masonry

We have used Ottos Masonry several times. They are extremely honest and very competent. The sidewalk was their latest project. We have already paid the invoice. I have not yet seen the work in person. I am able to view it on our cameras.
However, given their integrity, I do not doubt the final result. Otto said it came out well.
They are back later this summer to replace our garage floor.
Otto also sourced an excellent plumber for us. But that is who he is.

My retaining wall (almost same height as a tall grown up) in front yard was leaning due to tree roots problems. It was a big project that exceeded most masonry projects with lots of work and stone cutting, to the extend I received dust complaints from the city...
Otto and Joseph were helpful and very professional. The project took longer due to covid and extended workload. After the job was done, I got praises on the wall from time to time and close neighbours were impressed by Joseph's work (probably minus the dust part) and asked for their contact.

Hired Otto's Masonry to build stairs going up to the front door. They were on budget and on schedule. Very friendly, responsive and professional. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

The patio area in our backyard, adjacent to the 50-year old house, had not been touched for more than 40 years. Obviously, this area lost its qualities: patio stones stopped being levelled, a quite steep incline towards the house had been creating accumulation of water during heavy rains, grass could easily grow between stones ... to add to the grief, we had two leaks in the basement on the span of five years - so, we knew there should be a crack in the foundation.
Otto and his company addressed all our griefs in full. For one, thanks to the manually dug 10-foot trench, his people discovered and then beautifully repaired a large crack in the foundation. For another one, they completely replaced all layers in the patio area and levelled it properly, at the same time reusing old patio stones and adding bordering pavers.
Otto himself was always ready to help but his people knew their craft well. Still, it was very nice to see the owner playing a very important role in the whole process.
The whole project took only two and half days! Amazing work and a very high quality .

I hired Ottos Masonry to install a flagstone back patio in summer 2021. I was very pleased with the work and promptly rehired them in the fall to replace my front path with the same flagstone, as well as to replace an interlock pathway in the back. Again, the quality of the work was excellent. We greatly benefited from Ottos deep expertise, thoughtful suggestions and regular communication through both projects. The crew performing the work was very pleasant, highly efficient and responsive to feedback along the way. I would recommend Ottos Masonry highly and would be pleased to work with them again.
