We contracted Rudy to tuckpoint the exterior of our brick home. The mortar in the old brick walls, which dated back to 1915, was in dire need of replacement in parts. Rudy and Mike were both very friendly and courteous and made an extra effort to complete the job efficiently. Its a dirty job but they really clean up the mess, which is much appreciated. Rudy may take a bit of time to follow-up on calls and quotes but he is in high demand because his work is good, so we forgive him for that. He is worth the wait. Finally, he is very reasonable considering the labor involved. Thanks Rudy and Mike! We will recommend you to others without hesitation.

Despite not arriving on time (they were fighting rainy weather and were backlogged) Rudy and Mike took care to provide a good brick and mortar match, were quick but thorough and very concerned that I was satisfied with the work. You'd never know the repair was new brick and our house is 80 years old.

From the response to my request for an estimate to the cleanup after the chimney rebuild, the job was very professionally handled. Rudy handled the documentation and communication very well. Except for a one-day delay in the work (blame mother nature for setting back Rudy's sched), the chimney rebuild went well. Rudy and Arron (A-r-r-o-n, right?) did a wonderful job tearing down the old brick and laying down the new stuff. When asked, Arron was also very knowledgeable and kind enough to share his professional advice on what to do with some of the parging that needed to be done on my house (--and this was outside the scope of the project they came to do!). Rudy also very carefully explained to me what work was done as well as some issues they ran into. Overall, an excellent company to deal with. Thanks, guys, for giving up your Sunday with family to get the work done as close to the original schedule as humanly possible.

We just had our chimney rebuilt today and we couldn't be happier! Rudy and Aaron did and amazing job at a great price. Right from the beginning, Rudy was straightforward and honest on the work which needed to be done. On the day of the job, he and Aaron came in and worked quickly with little noise or disruption to our neighbours. Aaron, by the way, did a phenomenal job tearing down the old brick and laying down the news ones. I couldn't believe how quickly they finished the entire job (total time from start to finish was about 4 hours). Beyond that, these guys were genuinely a pleasure to be around and you can tell they take pride in their work. I would definitely tell anyone who is getting estimates to include them on their list.

In the early spring, when days warm enough to do external masonry were few and far between, I had an emergency external repair that needed to be done - a concrete window sill had fallen and left a gaping space beneath an upstairs window. I called Rudy and he was at my home within a few hours to evaluated the work needed. This was a Thursday evening and he even did the evaluation in the dark. Saturday promised to be warm enough to do the work. Early Saturday morning, Rudy and his crew appeared at the house with the replacement sill in hand and had the work done before noon. The quick response was most appreciated. Well done Rudy. Thanks.

Rudy came out and gave me a quote to repair my crumbling chimney. He recommended to tear down to roofline and rebuild. He was very professional and personable. His quote was fair and he was prompt in completing the job. I was amazed as to how quick he and Aaron were able to complete the job. The brick match was bang on and the craftsmanship was impecable. I am having them come back to do some minor tuck pointing elsewhere on my home. Highly Recommended !!!

Rudy showed up and did a great job. The job was a grind and point of my chimney. He matched the mortar and cleaned up after himself.
Rudy also went out of his way to protect my chimney at the top from all of the cracks and holes. These were allowing water to get through and damage my chimney further. He explained the problem with clear photos and video and went about fixing it. At no extra cost.

Rudy and Aaron are great to deal with. They came on time, finished on time and did a wonderful job. Mortar and brick matched existing chimney perfectly. They cleaned everything afterwards and left the area neat as a pin. The estimate provided was professionally prepared, detailed, and reasonable.

They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm very happy with their work and will come to them again in the future.

With the weather not cooperating, we got off to a late start. Weather was a problem throughout the whole rebuild but Rudy was honest and followed through on his word. Although our original start date was pushed back a bit, when Rudy had an opportunity to do the chimney rebuild (from the roof up) a week early he called us and came the night before to set up for the job. Aaron was doing the brick work and was professional, friendly, fast and clean. He only got through the tear down before the rain started and he had to tarp in and was forced to come back 2 days later. Because of a severe wind storm the chimney liner was ripped out. I phoned Rudy (on a Sunday night when it happened) and in less the 10 hours they were here securing the site. During the job, they invited me to come inspect the work and explained what they were doing and what needed to be done. In addition to letting me inspect the work they took videos and pictures to show me what they had done. Rudy doesn't take payment until the job is complete which included a thorough cleaning. Nothing was left behind, they took all the garbage away and the roof and yard were as clean as if they had never been there. In addition to being very competent and professional they were also very personable and when I asked about fixing a small crack somewhere else they just did it without trying to nickle and dime me. They also replace the liner at their cost even though it was not there fault. There are 2 questions I ask when considering a small company for a job and that is, Are they Competent? and Will they follow through? The answer is a resounding YES on both accounts. Rudy and Aaron also came by a couple of days later to do a quality inspection when I mentioned we had rain, freezing temperatures and 90 km/h wind gusts the day after the job. There quote was $700-$1000 less than the competing quotes which I obtained from companies with 10 star ratings on this site. If you think you would like Rudy to do work for you I would call right away, because I know he is really busy and booked well in advance.

With the weather not co-operating and a few rocky starts, I was worried the work would not be done before the cold weather set in. Fortunately, it was completed and, I believe, most professionally. Both chimneys look great and the brick matches well. As well, any glitches were addressed and the site was cleaned impeccably.

Rudy always kept me well-informed with e-mails and phone calls. He is a sincere and conscientious person, and seems to know his trade well. It was a pleasure to have Rudy and his fellow workers on this job.
