Found Jason based on the reviews here and he more than lived up to his rep. A wonderful guy, with a polite and neat crew, took out the old concrete floor in the basement - which was only about 1/2" thick and had been patched many times since over the home's 95 year life - installed internal weeping tiles, laid down a gravel base and poured the concrete. Because of our narrow laneway and poor access, the concrete had to be mixed inside and ended up being more work than he originally thought. Despite that, the floor ended up perfectly level and there was no request for more money when the job was done. Once the window was out in the basement, the guys came and went through the window to keep the upstairs clean. When I need masonry work in the future, Jason will be my first call.

Jason has restored the brickwork (retuck and point, replace broken, rebuild arch) on at least 5 houses on our street (Hamilton St.). His quote was very good and the quality of his work was excellent. Great work ethic and very resposive and a friendly Newfoundlander to boot!

Jason and his crew removed our old concrete floor and dug down as far as the footing would allow and then put a proper weeping tile,gravel base and repoured a concrete slab. They arrived to work on time every day and cleaned up at the end of each day. They even repaired some cracked and pitted sidewalks with some of their left over concrete as Jason said he didn't want to see it go to waste. We are very pleased with his job and would highly recommend Jason the Mason for any concrete or brick work.

We had hired Jason through the recommendation of a trusted friend to dig our basement down to a height of 7 foot 5", underpin our foundation, dig down an addition foot and a half, and finally pour a new slab. True to his word, Jason and his crew delivered. They were consistently on time, hard working and cleaned up after themselves each day. I would certainly recommend Jason for any concrete, tuck point, parging or brick work and will certainly be using him again in the future.
