Prostone recently installed an engineered quartz kitchen countertop for us. From start to finish, Prostone was profesional, efficient, less expensive then their competitors, and true to their word. The whole process was effortless! We are very happy with our new countertop, not only because it looks great, but also because it is a quality product.

The replacement of an older malfunctioning cooktop necessitated that we replace our countertops. We started out thinking we would just use laminate again but after talking to an experienced contractor, the project grew to include re-facing the cupboards and making a few minor changes to the configuration of the cupboards. As such, we decided to really make a statement and use a solid surface for the countertops. I found Prostone on the HomeStars site and being in our end of the city, I visited the showroom and was so glad I did. The sales rep, Alex showed me why natural versus synthetic stone is the way to go and took me into the warehouse / showroom to look at the slabs of stone. I was sold.

The pricing is very straight forward. They provided me with a price sheet with about 6 or 7 grades and under each there is a list of the stone types included. Best of all, the price included the double sink and any edging style they offered. When my husband came along to pick "our slab" it was a low key, no pressure experience as we were free to wander in the warehouse and select not only the type of granite but the very slab that would be used.

The counters were installed this week and the installers were top notch: prompt, clean, professional and very polite. We have a penninsula in the kitchen but the measurements were precise. Our contractor was very impressed by the quality, the installation and the price.

The re-facing is nearly finished and the kitchen is looking like we spent far far more than we did. The granite was the way to go and ProStone made the decision and experience easy, problem free and reasonalby affordable.

We were set to have a quartz countertop installed in our kitchen when a friend mentioned granite, and to go and check out this product at ProStone. We did and couldn't believe how beautiful granite is and also how affordable it is. We met Alex of ProStone at their office/warehouse, 19 Bertrand Ave in Scarborough and he helped us choose what we needed. He has a vast knowledge of all countertop products so making our choice was that much easier. He also did not rush us through any of this. The entire staff is courteous and professional. The measuring and installation went without a hitch - no mess, no fuss, just great professional workmanship. It's so nice to find that. They show up when they say they will. We highly recommend this company to anyone who is thinking of renovating their kitchen and/or bathroom.

After a year of planning our kitchen renovation we contacted and researched many countertop companies. Prostone got our business because their price was good, their countertops had the extra thickness, their fabricating facilty was excellent and Girish spent a lot of time with us to make sure we understood all the options. Our design was rather unusual but the counters (engineered quartz) fit perfectly. The two men who came to measure and later install were professional, friendly and worked quickly, with great attention to detail. We could not be happier with our counters and would recommend Prostone unconditionally to friends and family.

We were doing a whole-house renovation and wanted granite counters for our kitchen and bathrooms. We got quotes from several companies and advice from our builder. Some were ok, but some places wouldn't even let us see the slab we were getting without putting down 20%!

We were very happy to have found Pro Stone in our end of town and they were so helpful. Girish was great with explaining the entire process and the template / installer team were amazing. We got our large granite island and two vanity tops (granite and manufactured quartz) all from Pro Stone - you just can't beat the quality and value.

We chose Prostone without doing any research, which is completely unusual for us. But due to a glowing reference we went forward and would not change a thing. Girish showed us slab after slab until we found the one, then showed us some more to ensure that we had made the right decision. Wish we had gotten the name of the man who did the template for our counter, he was efficient and available when we were ready to have the template done. And finally, the two man team who installed the counter were great: on time, professional, polite and completed the install faster than anticipated. We will be giving photos.
