Hi Les, thank you for taking the time to post a review although I was quite surprised by your comments. You hired us to detect a leak in your pool and below is a record of what transpired.
On September 22,2016 our leak detection crew discovered that your face plate on the deep end return was cracked. You indicated that you wanted to have all the face plates replaced and decided to take this task on yourself. After you replaced the face plates you contacted our office and said you thought you were still losing water.
On October 7th, 2016 our leak detection crew returned and discovered that the face plates you installed were loose and needed to be tightened. Our crew adjusted the face plates and was unable to detect any other issues with your pool at that time.
I would like to remind you that you were emailed on October 18th, 2016 to inform you that my office had temporarily lost 2 key administrators. Geoff had just lost the mother of his children in a tragic accident and he had become the sole caregiver for his two young children and Cassidy had just become a first time father. During this time, the office was short handed and we had people filling in for Geoff and Cassidy with less experience.
On February 21st, 2017 I sent you an email asking you to contact me regarding the invoice but I never heard back from you. If your pool was losing water over the winter as you are suggesting, you should have contacted us. We have a winter check program and a crew that inspects pools throughout the winter. If your pool was losing water over the winter, you would have experienced damage to your winter cover and I would have certainly expected to hear from you if this were the case. That being said, I am not convinced your pool lost water over the winter
I have also attempted to contact you this week by cell phone and email however you have neglected to respond.
In my opinion, I believe both sides could have done a better job communicating with each other and we certainly apologize for our part.
Geoff Doherty
