I'd like to first apologize to you, as you seem to be quite offended by the pricing which we offered to you. Given that you have chosen to post this on a public forum after sending me an aggressive and offensive personal email (which I chose not to reply to), I would like to take this opportunity to clarify the claims which you are making.
Your assumption is incorrect - Our generation has been running this company for the past 12 years, which is long before your first move with us. We are hard working, honest and above-all, loyal to our clients.
Secondly, it is only fair to break down the pricing with which you have found such an issue. Your previous move totalled $1145.00 plus HST, which ended up being heavily discounted. There was a second drop off (a fridge up a flight of stairs to a second floor), poor-access (we incurred $300.00 of parking tickets), as well as gas and man-hours to complete the job. In fact, your previous move should have totalled somewhere around $1645.00 plus HST. Your current quote reflects the amount of work and hours necessary to complete the job. It is not an arbitrary increase, it is a fair quotation.
Given that you do not run a moving company, I find it difficult to understand how you feel that you can make assumptions about our pricing, and resolve this issue down to "greed". It is highly unprofessional and incorrect.
