Nanette is a pleasure to work with. She listened carefully to what I wanted and liked and made recommendations accordingly. At a busy time in my life, she was able to coordinate with trades and orders and have the finished product delivered to me in a timely manner without any hassles to me. She works very efficiently and I felt she was very fair in here pricing.
We also followed through on many of her suggestions and are thrilled with the results.
I would definitely recommend Nanette to my friends and clients.

Last Wednesday I received my keys for my 2 bedroom all white box. I had no idea where to start and had no furniture previously purchased. I was feeling overwhelmed and directionless. I'm a single gal, who is budget conscious, although I enjoy and value quality.

INITIAL COLOUR / CATCH ALL MEETING
I asked Nanette to meet me the day I received my keys. It seemed that we bounced around a little during the initial consultation, (lighting, finishes, flooring, colours, furniture style and placement) but I walked away from that meeting with a lovely colour palette and some great ideas (which were very different from the ideas I had going into it)

Considering Nanette had nothing concrete to latch onto regarding my likes and dislikes (I had a few decor images that I was drawn to) she managed to help me choose the right colours for my living space (a lovely warm neutral - necessary because it worked beautifully with my flooring, but a bit boring) along with this WHAM of colour -A beautiful deep turquoise. I'm terrified of colour, but I'm so glad that drama was brought into the space.

Her ideas, visions and gentle steerings were spot on.
But admittedly, at that point, I hadn't bought in 100%. I felt that I could have been swayed back to an easy all white / modern non-colour world.

FURNITURE SHOPPING
We went sofa shopping together (on the Friday), where I honed in on a comfy, aesthetically "me" sofa (a Canadian made sofa that is not too country, not too masculine and modern and best of all - using ecofriendly materials ). I was able to select my own upholstery for it, a beautiful herringbone with a sheen - turqoise and taupe. Perfect for my space, perfect because it's my favourite colour, perfect because I was hoping for a textured material. It was such a painless process AND I ended up paying the same price that you would pay for a (albeit higher end) Ikea sofa. (I also got a feminine oval ottoman with a single tuft in the same turquise herringbone material along with complimentary throw cushions made).

Currently, Nanette is helping me find the right dining room table and chairs. I am confident that I'll find the rustic yet modern wood peices that I'm looking for.

SAVED ME TIME, ANXIETY and MONEY
My space is still a work in process (it's only been a week since I got the keys) but I feel that I have a sense of direction, and it's actually fun to shop now since I'm not reeling with a million choices for every microdecision.

All of this equates to savings in sanity and time. It feels great to have some direction and guidance.

More than that though, she also has contacts and suppliers that will end up saving you money (always best to utilize services where things are done right the first time)

Nanette provided exceptional consultation services on colour, lighting and window treatment for our new house. We really enjoyed working with Nanette. We showed her magazines which included designs that we like and she provided a lot of tips/suggestions and even analyzed them in details so we understood the key elements of each style that appealed to us. We learned a lot and absolutely love the colours that she picks for our whole house. She also made a lot of good suggestions on where to get what. We've visited a few places that she recommended and truly agree with her choices. We look forward to working with her on other things in the house.

I had not redone my living room for over 20 years. Nanette Snel came to have a look and very quickly knew exactly what needed to be done to the room. I explained that the room was rarely used and our family time was in the "basement". Her choice of colours for paint and carpet were not what I thought I would have chosen, however, they look just great! Her placement of furniture and reframing of artwork made the whole room just come together. It will now be our "family" living room. I was very pleased with her trades that she recommended for painting and laying the carpet. The whole job was handled very professionally and I would not hesitate to recommend Nanique Interiors.

I called Nanique to rescue me from the swath of paint chips I was buried in. Nanette reads people, colour and space exceptionally well. I was impressed with how rapidly she zeroed in on my taste, worked lightening quick and am thrilled with all of her suggestions! The colours really pull together the whole house. She also saved the day with a bathroom-reno-gone-bad Called her back for fabric selection and was blown away by how quick and fun that was. Her contacts and suggestions were bang on with everything we've worked on so far. Everything is coming together and I have a home I love coming home to - thanks Nanette. I'll be calling again when we go ahead with flooring.

Nanette coordinated the project - she helped select the floring material, recommended a fantastic installer. One of her strengths is colour and she recommended the paint colours to complement the furnishings. The house looks fabulous - thanks Nanette for a job well done

We first met Nanette 5 years ago when we first bought our new house. We acted upon as many of her suggestions as we could afford at the time and have always kept our folder with her advise and suggestions with us when choosing lighting, carpets, paint etc. We called on Nanette again this year to come back for another look and suggest Phase 2 of our planning. Again we were so pleased with her ability use her vast design experience and knowledge and adjust it to keep with our sense of style and budget. Even with Nanette's busy schedule, knowing we were only interested in spending a few hours on the main floor of the house, she made time and treated us as if we were the only client she had.

I had the pleasure of working with Nanette during my home renovations. Nanette helped me to select and coordinate kitchen and bathroom floor tiles,tub and wall tiles, paint colours and bedding. Nanette was very professional, thorough and added her artistic flare to each room. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Nanette and highly recommend her for any size of project from paint colour selection to major renovations. I have used Nanette's services on more than one occasion. She is very professional, easy to talk to and listens to what you are trying to achieve. She has helped me move from boring beige to colours that I would never have chosen on my own. The results have been fantastic and I couldn't be more thrilled.
