Had Roy come around to take a look at my sewer (that another company had told me had to be replaced - original clay sewer in 1950's house). He had it cleaned out and looking great in no time and gave me recommendations for future upkeep - and a lot less than the total replacement. Would recommend Roy (Mayday) to anyone and everyone. There will only be one call in the future... Mayday!

We had a sewage back up this morning. I called the municipality who referred Roy from Mayday to help us out. He came over within a couple hours. Roy diagnosed the problem fast and cleared the sewage pipe of the tree root obstructions. We have no reservations in referring Roy.

MayDay saved me thousands of $$, as a another plumber suggested that I dig up the main and replace it with new pipe.
Mayday suggested that they could clear it without digging and proceeded to do just that. They had all the equipment required, were prompt after my call and acted in a very professional way. I am very pleased with their service and certainly will call them again if I have a problem

I know everyone hates to have a sewer backup problem. Me too. But it happens, and I have to face it. I read a lot of positive reviews from homestars about the service performed by Roy, Mayday services. So I decided to go with Roy. Roy was very kind on informing me things that I need to do or not to do before he came on site to fix the problem. He is also very professional with all the right tools to quickly locate the problem and clean out all main sewer pipes in the house. At the end, he provided me a DVD with scripts to describe the problem happened and the process to resolve it, which would be a good thing for insurance claim. I am very happy that I chose him to fix my problem. And many thanks for the reviews here which guide me to the right guy. Regarding cost, it is very reasonable given the work has been done. Overall, I would definitely recommend Roy from MayDay Drain Services.

My drain was blocked again by a huge maple on city property. This happened about 2 months ago when a reputable plumber came to dislodge the roots. Unfortunately he did not have a camera so didn't realize that all of his hard work would only last a short time. I called Roy & he came the same day. The roots had infiltrated the clay pipe & he struggled for a few hours.. cutting through the massive roots. His cutter became lodged in the tangled mess . Roy had to get another cutter and with a lot of effort he (thankfully) freed his equipment from the tangled mess. He cleared the drain. I felt very comfortable with Roy and his capabilities. A repeat customer for mayday drain. First service was over 2 years ago. I was happy with Roy's service that's why he's the one I called when I got the problem again.

After 2 respectable drain services companies taken 4hours in total, but still have not clear the matter entirely. Professional from MAYDAY came in for an hour and cleared the problem, also gave me a peace of mind in confident. MAYDAY was recommended by Markham City Waterwork.

I highly recommend Roy. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient. My 80 year old main drain was plagued with tough roots in multiple locations. He took his time to work through each blockage and showed me the progress with the camera snake. There were no additional costs at the end of the service. I am 100% happy with the price I paid and the amazing end results. I definitely will contact him again to perform maintenance on my drains as well as any main drain replacement in the future. Note: Last year, I hired a different company to clean my drain, at the end of the 20min on-site service they only utilized a small spade to "poke" a hole though the roots and said the only solution was to spend $4,000! Watch out for the plumbers and drain companies who want to change you $4,000 before, during, and after a service! Talk to Roy for a second opinion.

Our drain backed up in the basement. Yuck. Called our drain guy. He couldn't fix it and wanted to dig up the basement. We called Mayday for a second opinion. He came promptly with his snake and camera. He identified the blockage was in the main trap and knew that style of trap was one of the most difficult sorts to clear. But he didn't give up! After two tries it was cleared! What a relief. We are a sixplex apt. so inconveniencing our tenants over the long weekend was a huge concern. Not to mention the additional cost of digging, repairing floors etc. Thank You!
