The contract was based on leveling, compacting, reseting existing curbs on compacted surface, resurfacing an existing driveway with new asphalt at a specific grade away from both bordering houses. The curbs where reset on loose gravel, the grade was only to the length not the side as discussed, and the surface Finnish leaves much to be desired due to minimal rolling smoothness, even some peaks and valleys. There is a mark down the middle that looks like a skidd mark, probably the joint of laying down the asphalt. Lets see in a year
Not what you would expect - I paid but never again

Had driveway paved in June 2014, driveway was fine in the first few months, then when winter was over we noticed cracks and slight sinking on the left side. Since it was under warranty for one year, I called a month before the warranty period was over to ask for it to be fixed. It took 6 months, they came and did the job, but a few months later cracks are everywhere and it looks worse than before and now even on the right side where it was smooth before - it's a terrible job. I would not recommend using this company.

Got a quote from Vito for paving the driveway and doing interlock stones in the front pathway plus rear patio. Work is falling apart less than a year later. The asphalt used is very soft and shows tire track marks and dips everywhere, never seem to dry totally. Pathway stones have moved all over the place because foundation was totally inappropriate causing large gaps to appear everywhere. Everything done will need to be reconstructed. Called Vito several times no answer. The fake contract I signed claims to give a 1 year warranty what a joke. Others have taken this company to court but they deal in cash and have no money in the bank.

After getting a quote for getting our driveway paved and some steps and interlocking stone installed we had to wait several weeks past a firm confirmed date.

Only after we notified them that we had contracted another company did they show up to do the work.

We realized shortly after completion that the stairs and in the locking stone needed to be repaired. It has now been over two months past when they first agreed to come by and they have been a no show on several different dates.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Ever!

If you use them don't pay until you are 100% satisfied.

S&L Paving Salvatore came to my home to quote a job. Asked for down payment of $500.00. Paid in cash. Changed my mind within 5 days. Telephoned and sent a registered letter to inform the company change of plan. I asked for my down payment to be returned. It is June 2 2014. No return of down payment.

Found King S&L Paving advertisement in our neighborhood, called them and spoke to Vito who came to our property and gave us a quote. A contract was made based on Vito’s guarantee, on April 14th, that the work would be started after Easter and completed prior to May 1st. Subsequently, Vito has failed to arrive on pre-agreed dates with no notice or explanation. He has not replied to my voicemails for over two weeks now and none of the work has started to date despite his initial multiple promises of “next week”. We have terminated their contract today. Wish that I had actually found their reviews here sooner.
