I purchased my stair runner from Imperial Carpet. They had an excellent selection and their pricing was very competitive.

I changed my installation date twice, and each time Vanessa was very accommodating and found a date and time that worked for me. The installers arrive on time and did a fantastic job with the installation. I have a curved stair case and had chosen a runner with pattern which is tricky to install. The installers had no trouble at all matching the pattern and we are extremely happy with it. I will definitely shop at Imperial Carpet again!

I purchased a beautiful stair runner from Imperial Carpet. Not only did I get an incredible deal on the runner, but the service was outstanding. I switched the installation date twice, and each time Vanessa was extremely accommodating and managed to find a date and time that suited me. The carpet installers arrived on time and were very professional. The workmanship was excellent and after the work was completed the vacuumed the stairs and my hallway! That is what I call service!

I also received a follow up call from Vanessa which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Imperial Carpet to everyone.

Carpet was installed as promised. Installer was efficient, pleasant and did a pretty good job of cleaning up afterward. The carpets all looks great!

We purchased BEAUTIFUL wall to wall carpet that was installed crooked. A custom runner that severly damaged our stairs on installation. They paid to fix half the damages, and refused to fix the rest. Don't let their selection fool you, and don't do anything custom. You'll be disappointed and out of pocket. We were extremely disappointed with the experience and the end result.

Three years ago, we purchased a wool berber rug for our basement and stairs at Imperial. We worked with a salesperson to select a high-quality, durable carpet. The recommended carpet was expensive, but we wanted to ensure we choose a long-lasting carpet.

Now, after just three years, the carpet on the stairs has worn right down to the base material (three people live in our house, no pets). It is unreasonable wear for a supposedly good, durable carpet. Imperial refuses to stand behind their product and the advice that was given to us. They won't even send a rep to see the issue. Imperial also refuses to give us the name of the manufacturer.

Imperial was the place where my entire family purchased their rugs, however, we will no longer be seeking their services due to their inability to stand behind their products and advice.

Horrible service...the older lady in the store sorry forget the name looks you up and down when you enter the store and directs you accordingly where she thinks your price range is. When I told her what I am looking for ,she rudely replied if its not here you will not be able to find it anywhere else ! horrible horrible service ......needles to say i will take my business somewhere else

We were faced with a sewage flood over the holidays that left us unexpectedly replacing the carpet in our finished basement. The insurance estimate was low, so we were working on a tight budget. Despite this, I was determined to get a decent carpet. Thanks to Nikko and the great prices at Imperial, we're getting a beautiful wool blend berber and I couldn't be happier. Nikko is exceptionally professional, polite, and a pleasure to deal with. The guy who came to measure, Habib (I think), was also extremely gracious. When I was in the store, the owner introduced himself and ensured that I was served within minutes of arriving...I can't say more to compliment this place (and I shopped around - virtually every carpet store in the city saw me, and none came close to matching up to Imperial in any sense :)).

When we finished our basement this Spring we knew that we wanted to install carpet to add warmth to the space. Carpet was also a practical choice because the concrete sub-floor is uneven and we weren't interested in the cost involved with levelling it. The rubber underpadding that Nicko recommended did wonders to level the floor and the guys finished the entire installation job in a few hours. The edges are so well done that we won't even need to add thresholds where the carpet ends and the tile begins. Their price was slightly higher than others we looked into when shopping around but the quality reflects why.
