Malm BEDROOM furniture

We were searching for some time looking for the perfect bedroom set for our new home. We thought we had outgrown the "Ikea years" and were looking for something more stylish and hip. We couldn't find ANYTHING that was the same price and quality. Most sets along the trendy King street furniture strip were at least 2-3 times the price, and upon close expection the cheap laminates were peeling right back on the floor!

Kitchen Renovation

My family recently got our kitchen re-done by the folks at Ikea. They were a great help in assisting us with the design process, it was very hands on and they had a lot of great suggestions on what we could do with our space. The install was quicker than we thought it would be and we now have an amazing and very functional kitchen! We thought the pricing was fair and that it was really worth investing the time and money with Ikea.

Bathroom reno

I was looking for a professional that would be truthful and would do a great job. I found the contractor to be honest and work diligently to finish my bathroom reno. I was very impressed with the work and very happy with the quality of materials. I would recommend Ikea bathrooms as your next home project!

Kitchen renovation

Overall, the Ikea staff were very personable and professional in all of our correspondence with them. They provided an accurate estimate. The job took one week longer than it was supposed to because they had to order a missing part, but other than that there were no major problems and the finished product was beautiful.

Kitchen Renovation

The ikea staff did a beautiful job. They said they would complete the job in a week and it was completed on time. The colour and choices were fantastic. The granite countertop was especially beautiful - though it is common to have to wait for countertops. The clean up was great and the staff was very friendly.

sofa

We really wanted to order the Karlstad sofa bed from Ikea. We called to order, and to order over the phone, you have to arrange for home delivery, which they charge $160 for. So, we went into the store to order it, and they cannot place an order until the parts come into the warehouse in Montreal. Very frustrating, so we have to call again, find out if the parts are, and then go back to the store to order it. When it comes in, they call us, and we go pick it up. The whole process is frustrating!!

Home Office Desk

Bath Fitters normally talks about getting the job done in one day. Our experience however shows that it can take two weeks to get the parts, labour and service completed. Our renovator was subcontracted out to another company who need several days to gather supplies, and was unable to work during normal business hours. All in all it took 2 weeks to complete the job that was advertised to take 1 day.

Balcony Deck

Two years ago I installed IKEA's wood floors onto my balcony. They have sustained two winters already (almost)... we get SO many compliments on this floor! It was easy peasy to install - all you have to do is put the square floors down and you're DONE!

laundry room

Alot of choices to make for a small laundry room. We needed something high to fit the height of the washer and dryer. The staff were helpful and kind even on a crazy busy day. They walk you through ever nut and bolt that you need because everything comes individually packaged. The only thing is when you want something and the computer says it is there you better get to the check out fast because if someone gets to the check out before you do after all of the work you just did will be a waste of time if the product is gone.

Kitchen Renovation

Great quality but it helps to know what you're doing. We are in the renovations business, so modifying the cabinets took time but was well worth it. Great quality and price if you can invest the time. If you're not skilled, you might want a contractor to help with the install.

Approximate cost of services:
$10,000.00
