From the time we first reached out to the organization (Mark Yeung) to the end of the Installation (Kia), we were catered to in terms of meeting our wants and needs. Mark provided several options and configurations for us to consider, highlighting the details and advantages of each and in the end we decided to go with the technologically advanced Carrier Infinity series. Mark ensured we had a good understanding of what we were getting and what we would be saving. Kia looked after the entire installation and was very accomodating in explaining how to operate and maintain the complete system. We are completely grateful for the support they provided. Mark was very helpful in setting me up with appointments, information about rebates and took extra steps to provide the best customer service compared to other places I visited. Mark was very patient with my questions which I asked multiple times but he still answered them quickly. In addition, Mark gave me different packages and options which fit into my budget. Not once did I felt pressured from Mark to get the deal done. Pretty much I spoke to him in November 2017 and finally got the furnace and AC installed in May 2018 mainly because I wanted to wait for the 2018 Energy rebate. Mark was very honest and I would highly recommend visiting his office if you are looking for a new furnace, water tank, Air conditioner, etc. The installation was a full day and the installers was very professional and explained to me step by step what was being changed plus answered all my questions. The drilling and patching of the walls was done very well from the outside which was one of my main concerns. Highly recommended, thanks Mark for all your help again.

High Life isn't as bad as suggested by some of the other reviews here but there are things for them to improve on.

We are tenants in a relatively new townhouse development and had been experiencing problems with our Air Conditioner. We already had one fill up a week prior of contacting them but our AC pipe froze up again, our landlord suggested us to contact High Life as his friends had High Life installing their units with no problems. The office told us that a technician would arrive at 5PM and the technician was arrived on time. However, our AC unit was still frozen so the technician only checked our filter and left within 10 minutes and said he would need to come back on the weekend but still needed to charge a $100 inspection fee.

We spent the night without Air Conditioning and tried to request the technician to return the next day but he never gave us a call back. Frustrated without the AC, we had a second opinion suggesting that our unit's compressor is probably damaged and we are better off replacing the unit, the owner agreed and we ordered a new unit from High Life.

Our project was assigned to Mark. Mark was very responsive and seemed knowledgeable about our needs, he suggested that the unit we have from the builder was oversized and could have contributed the problem, so he helped us order a new unit and it was ready for installation the next day.

Just a day after the new unit was installed, the AC pipe froze up again and the air coming out from the new AC was not as cold as the old one. We were extremely disappointed to find out that having the new unit did not solve our problem and so i contacted the office. The office explained that they would need the same technician who did the installation to follow up on the job to prevent any miscommunications or finger pointing if the installation wasn't done well, which was confusing to me as they are all technicians working for the same company.

They said that the technician would be available to inspect the problem the next day, so I took time off work to answer the door for him, just to find out that he would end up flopping on the appointment, meaning I would need to take time off again the following day to open the door for him. The technician stayed for less than an hour and put some duct tape on our furnace pipes, but ultimately said there was no problem with the machine because the air was blowing through the vents fine, but this was probably due to the furnace being shut off for the past 2 days due to the frozen AC pipe.

The problem reoccured after the technician had left, so I contacted Mark again and he was responsive to my calls, he suggested that perhaps the coil we have installed is not ideal for the AC unit, but at this point I have already started to lose faith in the company, especially seeing how others here have had negative experiences with the company as well.

Ultimately, I was able to convince the landlord to allow us to have another company to inspect our problem. Who ultimately improved our situation at a very reasonable cost and was diligent enough to spend 3 hours with us on a Saturday night.

We appreciate the help we have received from Mark, but we will be taking our business elsewhere from now on

Mark was very informative and easy to work with. Honoured the initial very competitive price offered at the home show. The installers were very competent and responsive to our needs. We are very pleased with their service.

The workers came on time, were careful with our floors, worked efficiently and completed the installation on time. We are very satisfied with the service and our furnace is finally so quiet when it is running!!

It was professional and on time. They were really fast and cleaned everything after they finished.

Our old furnace’s heat exchanger needed replacement so we decided to change our furnace to a new one instead. Mark was extremely helpful in answering all our questions about the different models and we got a great price. The next day the guys came to replace the furnace and they were awesome. They were very friendly and got the job done in 3 hours. They also thoroughly explained how to use our new thermostat. Great experience!!

I had HighLife Heating install a furnace and air conditioner for me after much research. I spent a fair but of time on sites like hvac-talk getting an idea of how the installation should look as most people said that the quality of installation is one of the most important parts of a successful installation. Mark my salesperson was very knowledgeable and sent a crew in to complete the installation in one day. The crew was tidy and did a very clean installation. 1 year later everything is working perfectly and both the AC and furnace are whisper quiet. Great job.

After getting other quotes, I dropped into their showroom and met Mark. He gave me such a good price right off the bat using better equipment than others had spec'd. We had no problem setting a date and the installers were quick, clean and professional. He also got the ball rolling on rebates for the service. Totally pleased all around.

Delivery and installation was done as promised. This is 2nd time I purchased equipment from the company. They are honest, efficient and responsive.
