Guildcraft Floors

i am very happy with my floor installation. we got the flayer of guildcraft floors in mail . we went there because we were planning to complete our basement . there was huge variety of laminate . even first we thought that its hardwood . but when sales person told us , we were so surprised . we purchased l5mm laminate with installation from company. my floor looks awesome. Mehmut and his crew did a professional job. we are so happy that now we bought laminate for my upstairs . i am very thankful to the all team of guild craft floors.

We have been looking for hardwood for a while and saw the ad for Guildcraft three day sale.I was amzed to see that they had such agressive prices and products new in the market.Mona was very adjusting and looking at the volume of our project she was very accomodating.Installers were just amazing,just like family.I got my whole house hardwood floors done in merely three days.They cleaned after them and next day Mona sent us the maids for the whole floor and walls to be cleaned nicely.Me and wife are exited and our floor looks amazing.My wife even called all her friends over to see the workmanship.

The bad... Sales person was extremely cooperative until we signed the contract. He came in trying to add extra costs to the project which I refused. The technician although very experienced, did an alright job however he also tried to get another $700 from me which I refused. Lastly after been guaranteed that any extra closed boxes of hardwood could be returned, I got that standard speel about 30 days return policy from date of sale, the tech should have brought it back, etc.... Reluctantly they gave me back my money.

Note: they markup the corner round and transition strips considerably.

Conclusion, find a better company.

Terrible time with Guildcraft. I puschased laminate and hardwood at the mississauga store and arranged to pick it up at their hwy 50 store. Started with the laminate and ordered it for pick up 3 days ahead. Was told to come in at 10:15 as they had alot of deliveries that day. After a trip down and several calls picked it up after 5:00. When it came to the hardwood we asked for 20 of the 33 bundles (paid upfront for all). When we went to pick it up they had 10 only. I had a professional put the hardwood in. With each nail the top of the wood splintered or cracked ....the WOOD FELL APART ON INSTALLATION! We stopped installation and took back the unopened boxes (did not include the opened as I was told only unopened boxes could be returned). The hwy 50 store took back the hardwood and 2 boxes of laminate then said I had to have the mississauga store ok the refund, for these boxes. Hwy 50 refunded my money for the product not picked up. When I contacted mississauga they refused to give me my money back as on the contract it says no returns or refunds. When I stated it was because of a faulty product they said that was my fault because I bought millrun. I asked the salesman what millrun was he said that the ends can be a little rough, the example looked great, so I choose it. The manager said that I should have researched it before buying it...so in other words why would you trust our salesperson? I made a couple trips down to hwy 50 because I was told they would clear it up and email hwy 50 (giant floors) when I got there nothing was sent or resolved. the last one the manager said to go down and have them call her when I got there, she did not come to the phone. So I asked for my 7 boxes of hardwood and 2 boxes of laminate back and they said I had to pay for the other 23 for that to happen. So now they have my money and my hardwood! THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER HARDWOOD STORES STAY CLEAR OF THIS ONE!

I discovered this company through a flyer. It looked cheap and the wood seemed nice. I also recommended the company to a friend of mine. At first we chose a engineer floor that was estimated to take 4 weeks to deliver. We wanted the engineer flooring to be delivered as soon as possible, so we chose a different flooring that could be delivered guaranteed within a week & they ask 30% for deposit . After 6 days , I called them to ask the time they delivery the next day ( I have stay at home to accept the delivery, however they did not drop off the wood or call us) but they can not answer . After 1 week they can not tell us a specific day to delivery . We kept calling the company , warehouse and head office and they kept transferring us to different lines and were unhelpful. This was a very frustrating process that wasted my time and my family's time. At last on the 8 th day the supervisor noticed that : the delivery will be on Friday this week ( late about 5 days ) , but I'm not sure it's on time or not & it's too late for us . My husband booked off an entire week off work to do this project. We even offered to come and pick it up ASAP when they have them or a refund but they refused ( because they mark on the invoice , exchange only ) . This company is neither honest or reliable.
I have ever phoned to ask my credit card company to cancel that invoice but they said I have to wait them for 1 more week ( because the floor often is delivery in 2 week ) and I think to ask Consumer Association Office about my situation . Even though I mentioned the delivery cannot exist beyond one week, they assured me it would be on time ( they marked on the invoice ) .
I would not recommend this company to anyone .

When we first visited Guildcraft we purchased engineered hardwood and arranged for an install, but after a change in plans, we decided to perform the installation ourselves. Guildcraft (Ravnit) was flexible in adjusting our invoice as a consequence to accommodate our needs. Thanks!
