Greg & Sons Moving & Storage

We used Greg and Sons, extremely satisfied, performed as promised, nothing damaged or lost, on time, supplied a tagged inventory of all items, you should not be disappointed, may not be the least expensive but I desire quality not price

I was moving from a house to a condo. I researched moving companies and chose Greg and Sons based on comments, their policy of visiting the premises and their realistic assessment of my requirements (which turned out to be accurate). They were prompt and very efficient. All in all a very good experience.

Quote was not the highest and not the lowest. Membership of Canadian Association of Movers (CAM) gave me confidence of accountability in the event of mishap. Handy supplies storefront in Scarborough was well-stocked. Every person I dealt with was polite and knowledgeable. Reminder call came from Maureen the day before. Movers showed up on time. Wrapped and packed carefully. Overflow garage required another truck, but not a problem. They brought it in quickly with an extra guy. Moved into new home in the afternoon. The movers were very careful with large furniture and doorways, floors. They relocated items when I changed my mind on which room I wanted.

All in all a great move. Very happy and would recommend Greg & Sons to my friends and family.

Great company! Definately recommend! G&S showed up on time for both portions of my move, even with first half (Feb-2013) being the day after a very large snowfall and the side streets were still not plowed. The team moved quickly and efficiently, ensuring all funiture was propper wrapped and tagged before going on the truck and took care of any questions we had. We used storage for about 5 weeks and it was delievered undamaged on the second half of the move (Mar-2013).

I would definately recommend this company to others, especially since it was recommended to me.

I interviewed a number of moving companies looking for both moving and packing services as I have a small baby and didn't think I would have enough time to pack everything. This is a family business and we practically met the entire family from the parents who came to pack our breakables on a Sunday morning (other companies would not pack on the weekend) to the son and son-in-law who helped move. They were the most expensive quote we received but were well worth it when our new King size bed was delivered and couldn't be lifted to our 3rd storey master the guys broke a sweat but managed to get the mattress up the stairs. Very professional, clean and friendly guys. Thank you so much for your help.

We chose Greg and sons for our move from a larger house in Thornhill to a smaller one in Toronto . They were professional and courteous throughout the move and calmly overcame all the problems that came their way ( eg. narrow stairs, small basement door ).
I would certainly recommend this company and/or use them again without hesitation.

I have used Greg & Sons for two moves in the past 3 years. They did such a phenomenal job on my first move that I didn't even bother getting quotes from anyone else for my second move. Without a doubt, this is one of the most efficient and hard-working moving companies I've ever dealt with.

The price they quote is the price you pay, period. No surprises or extra charges at the end of the move.

For each move, they showed up on time, carefully wrapped all soft furnishings, put clothing into closet boxes, put the TV into a special TV box and large pictures into special compartments in the truck. They then got to the new place so fast that I barely got there before them! Everything was unloaded and put exactly where I asked them to. Nothing was damaged or lost in either move. The speed with which they load and unload is incredible!

I highly recommend this company.

Based our selection on a friends recommendation and were not disappointed.

4 movers came on time and emptied the house in about 5 hours including disassembling the furniture. Another 4 hours and our furniture was back assembled (except Ikea type book cases and storage shelving) and we were ready to unpack.

Floors were all covered with mats so no worries with the hardwood.

All looked and acted very professionally.

Would use again.

The guys were amazing it was hot and humid but they were so fast we could hardly keep up with them. They were on time, careful (nothing broken or damaged) and came in under the price quoted. I will use them again for sure.
