After shortlisting 3 vendors using HomeStars, we selected Massimo's company for the interior painting of our two storey house, and for replacing our broadloom with hardwood floors.

Overall, we're very pleased with the result. The work was done on time and was of good quality.

Two bits of advice: First, be patient with Massimo. He's a great guy but doesn't have the smoothest people skills. Second, if using him for painting, clarify with him how you want problems they might find with the walls dealt with. In our case, his painters did a great job, but there was one instance where a wall was poorly finished by the original builder -- if we'd known about it earlier we would have paid to have them repair the wall before painting it.

Our overall take is that Massimo is professional, conscientous and knowledgeable. We would certainly recommend him to our family and friends.

This is the third time we have used Massimo's team and as always we are thrilled with the results. They listened to our requirements, provided great advice and completed the painting and interior and exterior renovations to perfectly meet our expectations of quality. They treated our house with respect and care. We will use Massimo for our next project.

We had an older home that desperately needed renovation. We are so glad we chose Massimo and his team of professionals, as they did an outstanding job! They completely transformed 3 severely outdated bathrooms into gorgeous modern showpieces.
They did an excellent job on removing old stucco ceilings in the den and basement with fresh drywall for a smooth immaculate finish. For the basement they put in a subfloor and beautiful laminate flooring. We spent about $145,000, which was very cost effective, as we had gotten another two quotes to compare.
Massimo is a great team leader and so easy to communicate with...no attitude...he is just so honest and open, and with his willingness to listen to your needs and concerns, he really goes the extra mile to complete a “dream come true” home renovation.

Like many others in Toronto this spring, our basement flooded. Carpet, drywall, baseboards, trim and paint needed to be replaced. We wanted our basement back quickly, and the work done by a team with experience.

Massimo's team delivered. He responded right away and gave us an estimate promptly via email. Junior and his team were great. They started with an empty basement on Monday, and were out on Friday afternoon with walls painted and carpet installed. They were respectful of our home and did their best to keep things clean and quiet.

I hired Executive Touch for exterior house painting, fascia replacement, shed rebuilding, and other outside repairs. I will not hesitate to hire them again for internal paining and renovation. Massimo and his crew were fantastic. The work was impeccable, but most importantly, the team was responsive to my needs and timing issues. Massimo kept in close touch with me and his crew throughout the project. Follow-up was excellent. I never needed to ask for anything twice. He worked to find intelligent solutions to site situations that we encountered along the way, and discussed the impact of all of the changes (for example, what do you do when you find a nest of carpenter ants in the shed....???). I loved the crew (make sure you ask for Junior). There was tons of positive energy at all times, and I missed them when they left. After the job was complete we discovered a sticky window. When I called Massimo, he had a person there within half an hour to deal with it. For excellent pre-project planning, site management, quality of the work, and follow-up, Executive Touch gets a 10!

Had my 30 year old, 3 storey home completely renovated. No surface was untouched. New kitchen, 1.5 bath, and 3 bedrooms. Had 3 quotes from GCs I found on homestars and Massimo's was actually the most expensive but I went with him because of his genuine character. I spend abut 50% of the year overseas for business and needed someone that I could trust, that could make the right judgements on their own, and do good work. The reno duration was from about December 2012 to April 2013 during which time I was out of the country for about 2 months. Thankfully my judgement of Massimo was right, and I had no concerns about him carrying out the work to near perfection by the time I returned home. There are always those minor things that aren't quite right which was a bit annoying to have his guys come back on a couple occasions to fix but thankfully, it was never a hassle and his guys came to fix every one last detail. Also, since I was away, communication was also fairly straightforward via cell phone pics and email, no significant communication problems and timely responses.

Some of the issues I had were where I was closing a doorway and widening a bathroom door, the drywall wasn't very flat, leaving gaps to the vanity. Other small issues like paint touch up and uneven kitchen floorboards, some cracking in the kitchen cabinetry assembly, and uneven cabinet door panels were all fixed up well.

Painting was very professionally done, especially noticeable around trim and edges. Walls were well prepared before hand.

Tile laying was also well done in the kitchen. Very flat and well matched tile edges (12x24 brick). I think his tile guy had a bit of trouble laying tile on the concrete basement though due to the slab not being very flat but he made the best of it and the finished work looked great. Underneath though, I think some areas got up to a couple inches thick in order to stay level.

The only issue I had with the whole project would have been the cost. It was quite expensive and I think with most GCs you have to be very clear and know how much to pay for the jobs you're asking for. I wasn't very experienced with that part so I would not hold that against him. When I did have time to do some research into add-ons to the project, Massimo was reasonable.

I would definitely do work with Massimo again in the future.

We bought our condo with an 80's paint job and bad carpet, and Massimo and his crew were happy to negotiate with us on the price of their services, so that we could update it to the current century. This was a big plus, because we had spent most of our budget on the home purchase and the appliances! The timing and execution was professional, and the workers courteous. Whether you have a big or small budget, they will do your job! We will definitely try and use them to update our kitchen nook and bathrooms :)

I recently purchased my first property at an amazing price, but all dreams come with fine print. Trim and crown moulding was ending in odd and abrupt ways, the floors were cracked/damaged, closet doors were falling on peoples faces, the walls were damaged with a seemingly endless number of dings, and that was only the tip of the iceberg.

When I first decided to renovate I went through the time to get quotes from a couple companies. Each of the companies had their pro's and con's, but it was the most unusual factor had me choose Massimo over all others: none of the other companies would answer their phones! I kept thinking to myself:

"If they don't answer their phones or return my calls before I even write them a check, what happens after they have my money?"

Massimo and his people were absolutely the right choice. My condo looks brand new. The attention to detail Massimo gives to his projects, and more importantly his customers is amazing. He was always on time, always on top of everything, and he always answered his phone!

He isn't cheap, and rightly so. Massimo is a perfect example of the old saying "you get what you pay for".

I would recommend Massimo and his team to anyone without hesitation, and will undoubtedly use him again in the future.

In my opinion, the replacement of my old cracked bathroom tiles with the new white tiles supplied and installed by these guys was a really wise choice. I like the new tiles, and they definitely go well with the sink that we have :)
