Encore Windows & Doors

I ordered 2 interior sound reduction windows from Encore Home improvements in Toronto on-line for delivery to my Home in Ottawa. Through a misscommunication in the window requirements the original windows that were delivered turned out to be too small, and not able to accomodate the existing single hung windows , which required them to tilt inward for cleaning. Encore home improvements replaced them without charge after realizing their error.

This review is long overdue for Encore Windows and Doors. It's been 2 years since they replaced our old storm door. Now, each time I leave through the side door I notice how smoothly and quietly the storm door closes. On those windy and cold days and nights, the tight seal keeps the cold air and noise from entering the home. Encore provides quality product AND workmanship! Thank you for the great product and installation back in December 2009.

Generally, I am satisfied with the Soundproof windows.They do provide the
sound insulation that was promised.I found the Do-It-Yourself installation relatively straightforward and very satisfying. Also,I found the manufacture/construction of the windows and frame to be of high quality.

Encore did a complete brick-to-brick replacement of all our windows and a sliding patio door. We are very satisfied with the quality of the windows (Vinyl Window Designs) and with the quality of the installation. Dave took the time to explain the superior construction of the windows, so though they were a little more expensive than another brand we were considering, we felt the price was going to be worthwhile in terms of energy savings and peace of mind. The installers George and Sean also take pride in their work and have many years of experience. I looked at a lot of vinyl window installations in our neighborhood before making a decision. In the end we decided to go with Encore because our neighbor's installation simply looked the best and noticeably so. Overall very happy with their service and with the look of our windows.

I did some research before he came across this company on the Internet. I was experiencing some noise in my bedroom area that had been keeping me awake at night for quite some time. All I can say about these guys is their service and professionalism is unsurpassed. A few things that impressed me was the quality of the product, I was extremely impressed after the windows were installed. They were delivered and installed within the time that they were promised. Their installers (2) were first rate and handled the installation of my windows with the utmost expertise and care. Although the Windows were not cheap, I think you will appreciate the reason why after the product is installed and you see the quality of the finished product and the time it takes to install them, not a simple task by any means. Highly recommended company.

Thanks to Anthony and his team for the wonderful work on our windows and doors. Our builder windows and doors were awful. Now, the windows are a huge improvement and they look great. A few years ago I contracted Encore to do windows on my home which was more than 100 years old. Encore did a fabulous retrofit job on that old house and added some much needed charm to it. The windows were beautiful, worked well, and the service provided was exceptional. I recently purchased another older home which required all new windows and a French style door. I contacted several companies, including Encore for a quote. Encore's quote was very competitive, they took the time to be available after hours when I was free and they were very helpful with ideas and suggestions. I gave the contract to Encore and they recently finished the installation. They were very clean and efficient and the windows were done without any inconvenience to me. My current home is also an older home and required some extra work which Encore did without hesitation. The finishing work, both inside and out is exceptional, and the installer went above and beyond to make the windows look great. Every window is my favorite. I have been very happy with Encore for both installations, and for their customer service, and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the great work and the extra care.
