We contacted Hotwire for a quote for a electric panel upgrade and installation of a dedicated line for our microwave. Response by Hannah and Oris was quick, friendly and professional. The work took a day to be completed and the price was the same as the estimate given. We were very pleased with everything.

Oris and his crew were simply amazing from begining to end! These guys know what they're talking about and communicates expectations very well. I would defeintely call these guys up in the future.

We hired Oris and his crew last year to come in and install exterior pot lights around the perimeter of the house. His knowledge and expertise when spoken to about photo eye sensors and what products out performed others was key, giving us the ability to choose the proper components as home owners that fit with our styling and budget, eliminating possible problematic situations down the road. The project was conducted in a timely and professional manner, on schedule (unlike other outfits that will try to find things that are wrong but are not-these are called incidentals), and no hidden surprises.

Early this year we found ourselves inviting Oris and his crew back to install interior pot lights, to perform interior, and exterior electrical work as well. The key component in the interior installation of the pot lights for those of you who have clean freak wives like mine, was that, Oris lived up to his word when he said, "We leave it as we find, you will never know we were here", and they did just that. Once again Oris' level of knowledge and expertise was very clear and concise allowing for us to pick and choose the proper components (dimmers, light switches, etc) that would best fit the decor and our personal preferences.

Would I invite anyone to hire Hotwire Electrical? In a heart beat with no hesitation will I refer Hotwire Electrical to family, friends, and just anyone looking to hire an electrician? In closing, Hotwire does nothing but stand up to the epitome of professionalism, quality work, and performance; and truly deserves to be called and be given the title, the "A Team" of the electrical world.

Not much more to add to what other happy customers have said; Hotwire Electric-All has been a great partner in helping us drag this old house into better shape. Oris, Hannah & Chris have been patient while we execute our 3-of-4-floor reno in long, slow phases. Did a great job replacing k&t with minimal damage, and always had useful suggestions along the way for our basement and 3rd floor finishing projects. Cheerful, SUPER professional, very hard-working - a delight to work with. Ours is, I'm sure, a relatively small job compared to the big houses I know they have worked on, but each one of the team has made it clear they want to do a great job on every part of our project. It's been a pleasure to recommend them to friends and neighbours, and I'll continue to do so.

Oris and his team really do understand and execute the concept of excellent customer service. They LISTEN, follow-up promptly, be there when they say they will be there and gladly answer questions. They offer their expertise and suitable recommendations. They are competitive and honest. I would definitely recommend them.

Based on reviews on Homestars, I had contacted another highly rated electrical company to provide a quote on potlight installation. After 2 emails quotation requests and 2 calls with no return messages, I contacted Hotwire and I'm glad I did. Oris, Chris and Grant did an excellent job - they showed up on time, were very personable and finished the work and cleaned up efficiently. Oris explained why our previous lights didn't work and made recommendations about LED bulbs in the future. At the office, Hannah was very personable and efficient. It was a pleasure doing business with this company and I would recommend them without hesitation.

I often turn to Homestars.com for company reviews and referrals and HotWire was no exception. The perfect 10/10 score stands true and I may as well join in to recommend Oris and his crew to anyone requiring an honest and reasonably priced electrician. If you can wait the 2-3 weeks required to book HotWire, it's worth it. As other reviewers have stated, you can certainly find lower quotes elsewhere, but I truly believe 'you get what you pay for', so buyer beware!! You should have no such concerns with these folks. I retain numerous Contractors and Trades annually for work on various projects. Oris at HotWire is WITHOUT QUESTION the best Electrician I have ever used. I will be referring him to all my clients and utilizing him on all my future projects. The work is clean, the guys were easy going and professional. They discussed better solutions to what we were doing and implemented same quickly. I was blown away by how clean the work area was, both during and after the work. I would be happy to provide a more detailed review to anyone who wants one - feel free to call me at 416 710 0304. OUTSTANDING. Don't be fooled by these other trades that quote cheap and then end up putting in an inferior product and/or charging more when on site because they found "problems". GET HOTWIRE and get it done right the first time!!!

When I deal with a trade, there are a few things I look for. My trades must be pro's, my trades must come quickly, and they must never leave me with a head ache. I have been on this site for quite some time now, I hire lots of trades from here. Orris has been the best. I was disturbed to see a review that was so out of character with all of the others that Orris and Chris have earned. I hope that one crack pot loser will not be taken seriously, look how many people have loved his work.... doesn't take a genius. I have been thrilled to have a trade as reliable and proffessional as Orris. I will hire them for all of my projects, they are that good.
