Better Contracting Services

My family is very pleased with the work Better Contracting Services did at my mothers home. They were on time and non disruptive to my mom's daily routine. It was a nice touch that Better Contracting involved the family during the decision making process before signing the contract. It gave us a good sense of trust and confidence in the roof replacement. I recommend this company for that reason in addition to their good workmanship. Thanks

I had Josh give me a quote that was a bit pricy but during and after the roof was done and viewing the quality, efficiency and the determination to get the roof done on time. the money I spent was well worth it. Mike Graves came out and gave me a quote, it was the highest, I could not believe the team, from Charlene at the office and the bin driver to George the Forman. The Job got done in 2 days. Now I release why Mike Holmes uses Better Contracting.

I was trying to find a roofing company close to where my house is. I was trying to look on the internet to find information on the companies and was very frustrated. I have watched Holmes on Homes for several years and remembered the company who I see do roofing on there so I logged into the Better Contracting Services Website as I thought I could get an idea of what to do. I emailed their office and asked if their company does any roofing in our area or if they could possibly recommend someone that they know. I was surprised and very grateful to get a reply from Charlena. They recommended Bruce Clark Roofing from Lindsay - We called them, had them have a look, asked lots of questions and were very pleased with both the knowledge and the fact that they warranty their work besides the manufacturer warranty of the shingles themselves. Also the price was very reasonable. We have had the work done. The crew was awesome, they worked very hard in very hot weather, were very pleasant not only to us but to each other. We heard no complaining and lots of happy workers. They checked to ensure our soffits were open and circulating and installed a vent for our bathroom so we can install an exhaust fan. They cleaned up after themselves and by the time the work was done (one day!!) if not for the new roof you would not have known they had been there. It was a very great experience. We had our roof replaced as well as all the eve troughs and fascia. We also had the leaf guard put on. The job took 4 days. 2 for the roof and 2 for the rest. We included a shed as well. The work was done very well. It looked like the eve trough work was a sub contractor. One issue just occurred. One piece of leaf guard has fallen off into the back yard. This was during the rain we were having this weekend. Hopefully it will be put back quickly.

We were very impressed by the work done in replacing our eavestroughs. Asked us questions on how we would like the replacement done for down pipes etc. The workers arrived on time, did an excellent job of cleaning up everything! They completed the job quickly, well done!.

Great service and they did an excellent job on my roof. I would highly recommend them because they are knowledgeable and make the extra effort to fix any problems or issues.

Mike and Charlena are real gems to deal with. We had some wild roofing quotes and after checking with five companies we didn't know what to do. Better Contracting came in, gave an accurate quote and assessment of work and were highly flexible in terms of start dates and payments. Fast forward a month and our new roof, eaves and downspouts are the talk of the street! The guys did a tremendous job, were highly communicative and cleaned up each day. The quote never changed throughout the project - something we were constantly worried about. A++ service. Highly recommended.

Last-minute call for help after a major storm ripped some shingles off of my roof. Enough that I had a small amount of water coming into the master bedroom ceiling.

Explained to them roof was only 6yrs old. Indicated they would do their very best to match colours, but explained many there are many shingle manufacturers, and a multitude of colours.

Better Contracting was out next morning for a prompt, seamless repair. Looks absolutely spectacular. Cannot find where the patch was at all...

Best part is they were very fair with respect to price - did not take advantage of the situation.

Contemplating replacing gutters - I will be calling them FIRST!
