Very professional, very pleasant: We needed to install a larger breaker panel, replace our ancient fuse-based master power switch, and upgrade the exterior hydro feed. Astron sent someone over to give a quote right away (some other companies did not return my call/email). Astron very quickly arranged for the City permits and approvals from Toronto Hydro and coordinated with Hydro to shut off power. Astron's crew installed a single new, larger breaker panel with master switch. They reconnected all the circuits in the house and tested the connections. The crew also replaced our aged outside feed with new PVC conduit and new wiring to the street connection. The crew was punctual, efficient, and exceptionally pleasant. They cleaned up after themselves, even sweeping up any dirt they tracked in and all the bits of wire from the driveway. The price was extremely reasonable for the large amount of work, permits, and supplies needed. By far the best experience with a contractor we've ever had.

Hi, One of the few contractors I can count on one hand that shows up prepared and on time. Astron has done two jobs for me. They did all of the electrical on our addition and just did some kitchen stove wiring and installed a vented range fan.

The guys did what they said they would do and did a great job. They even cleaned up after they were done! reliable, honest and on budget. I would recommend them A+++ I would call them before anyone else for my electrical work.

An appointment was set to have lights installed over our island and they arrived right on time. As there weren't any existing, new wiring and boxes had to be installed. This was completed with the utmost consideration to minimizing the drywall repairs that would be required. They also supplied and installed a pot light in the kitchen. Again with incredible care. A new light fixture was replaced in the bathroom as well as an outdoor plug. I cannot express my gratitude enough to the team for their professionalism and courtesy.

Astron electric is amazing! Alex came and installed 8 pot lights and did a chandelier relocation in my living room - not only am I happy by how great the after looks, but im very impressed by the precision, neatness, accuracy and clean job that was done. I would recommend alex and company 100%.

We recently hired Ted and Alex to disconnect and remove knob and tube. They are both very knowledgeable and take pride in their work and very prompt. I had to call them back for something and they came promptly the next day to complete. There was no wait like many other contractors who de prioritize you once payments are made. While there, I asked Alex to look at a light switch and he did this as a courtesy. This service reminds me of old school good quality and customer service that some contractors lack today. Got an estimate for 2 ceiling pendant lights to be installed, a switch to be fixed, a fan remote to be connected, and a ceiling fan to be installed - with one day to find the lights we were told they would come back at a later date to install - we did't find lights we liked so when they got here they did the other work and charged us $674.00 (the original estimate for all the work was $784.00) and said it would be another $400.00 to come back to install the lights ...I feel robbed . They are here less than an hour.

Alex and his team were excellent! The work was done on schedule and exactly as described. They were friendly, professional and extremely tidy. They were able to seamlessly transition between 11 residential units based on tenneant schedules to make sure everythign was done on time. Highly reccomend for any electrical work!

Alex and his team are absolutely fantastic and without a doubt true experts in the field. As first time homeowners, we hired Astron Electric to completely rewire our 80 year old home. This included removing all existing knob and tube wiring, installing a new 200 AMP service panel, over 25 pot lights (perfectly positioned), valence lighting, and electric floor heating. This team is meticulous, work efficiently and truly caring about the end result. All of the work resulted in minimal damage to our plaster and lath walls/ceiling. Yes, it was a messy job, but team was diligent in sweeping up dust and clearing away pieces of debris, leaving our home as tidy as possible. Not only is Alex extremely knowledgeable, but his attention to detail and is unsurpassed. We are so happy with the work and I would recommend Alex and his team in a heartbeat.

Sloppy work. They drilled into a pipe while installing an outlet because they didn't check if there was anything behind the wall first. Caused a huge leak in the wall (water everywhere) which then made our radiant heating pump fail. Ted came by to check out what happened and said nothing to us. No apology or anything. Ended up costing us $700 to repair our heating pump. Will certainly not be hiring them again.

Astron Electric did a great job in addressing several lighting issues that I needed taken care of. Prior to undertaking a roof insulation project, I was told by my contractor to ensure that the pot light housing was ICT. Alex came promptly to evaluate the housing, and inspected every single pot light - even climbing into the attic to verify how they had been installed. As a couple of them needed to be replaced, he suggested that I consider retrofitting the trims on the the remaining ones to maintain a uniform appearance, and replace the existing bulbs with LED bulbs which don't heat up so there would be no overheating risk once the insulation goes in. As I liked this suggestion, Alex then made second visit to my home to show me the various trim options, and tried each of them on so I could pick the one that I liked best. On the third visit, when the job was completed, I also had him fix a broken light socket, and hang two new light fixtures, one of which required extra support and reinforcement of the overhead ceiling. The pricing was fair, the service was exceptional, and the job executed with great professionalism. I am extremely pleased with the work that was done, and my new lighting, and wouldn't hesitate to call on Astron Electric again for any future electrical needs!
