Acorn Wood Floors

My family has used Acorn Wood Floors four separate times over the last 15 years on a few homes and they have completed the work in a fast and efficient manner and their rates are extremely competitive. I would recommend Acorn to anyone looking to revitalize their hardwood floors.

We wish to thank Acorn Wood Floors for a an excellent repair of our damaged brushed oak floor. Replacement boards were no longer available to match our floor. Ron visited our home and determined the
best fix was to refinish new boards to match the rest of our floor. This entailed light sanding and trial stains, followed by adding the correct topcoat sheen. A second home visit was made to select the best of four mock-ups. Many hours in the shop produced the finished boards which were installed and are the perfect match!

Thanks to Ron & his team for restoring our abused (pets, kids, bikes, roller blades !) Walnut wood floors. They did an outstanding job, on time, on budget and were very pleasant to have working in our home. We've used Acorn before and have always been very happy with their work & professionalism.

Ron and his crew sanded and restrained all of our maple hardwood in our home. It had severely yellowed over the years and had lots of stains and gouges. They did an excellent job and it looks marvelous. I am extremely happy with the service we received from start to finish. They worked with our contractor and the end result is exactly what I wanted. I researched other companies as well and found Acorn Flooring had the best customer service of any of the other companies and the price was excellent and the job was done on time. It truly was a great experience dealing with Acorn Flooring and I would highly recommend them. I am attaching a before and after picture, keeping in mind our contractor still has to put all the floor molding back but you will see the difference and it is night and day.

Floor was installed by Ron’s dad in the early 80’s and we have had them maintained by the family since we purchased the house 20 years ago. They were one of the reasons we bought the house and still look as good as new thanks to the efforts of Acorn floors. Highly recommend this company

They were very attentive and accommodating in helping us pick the right products for our needs and aesthetics, and the job is priced very fairly. We had a quote for new replacement floors (not even wood) and then had a quote from Acorn to repair very old oak floor, repair bad squeaks, replace wood in damaged areas and refinish the existing wood. It was half the price of a new floor and looks fabulous. We have retained the look of the 1955 house including the striped edging that was popular in the day. The crew were on time and cleaned up with very little dust in the remainder of the house. Everyone I dealt with was professional and accomodating to our situation. I would highly recommend them if you want to keep your old wood floors.

The floor was badly pitted from previous owners dogs as well as deep gouges from a chair.
The floor looks like new. To our surprise, there was almost no dust.
