Last year, my husband and I finally decided to reno may basement as I live in a small home is west end of downtown and needed the additional space. We had, had our home gutted 5 yrs before and had a really bad experience with a shody contractor. I got quotes from different references and of all the folks I interviewed I found P & P Painting was the most professional, organized in timely in how they approached the quotation process. They asked lots of questions, took their time to take lots of measurements and itemized the scope of work appropriately in our contract. That was the first indication I had found the right company to do business with. Next was the wait time-a couple of mths not bad considering I was worried I would need to book 6-9mths in advance. Finally the renos started and I found the workmen to be utterly humble, respectfuly of my home an cleaned up after themselves, but also the project lead Mauricio gave me a daily updates of the work progress. The project ran a bit longer than expected., but in the end they put the extra effort in the home stretch to get it done. They made time to answer my many daily questions, addressed my concerns in a timely manner and worked hard to make sure I was happy with the outcome. It was not a cheap Reno, but with contractors you get exactly what you pay for. We got an electrical inspection certificate, they were courteous, professional and the end result is something I am happy with. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends. Tamara
