I hired Wes to help install a backsplash in my kitchen and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. He is nothing short of a perfectionist and takes a huge amount of pride in his work. If another project pops up I won't hesitate to hire him again. A few highlights of my experience with Wes: * He was courteous, humorous and knowledgeable when he arrived to provide an estimate. I was impressed enough with how insightful and thorough he was to hire him almost immediately after I got his quote. * His quote was extremely competitive. Especially considering the sheer amount of time and labour it takes planning around things like wavy/warped walls in an older house and meticulously cutting each sheet of tile around things like plugs. * The work Wes completed was amazing and it comes down to his understanding of what looks good and what doesn't. His experience tackling difficult problems and knowing how to solve them. His exceptionally high attention to detail. I still look at the tiles he installed for me and can't stop thinking about how much thought he put into tile placement to make sure they didn't stop abruptly in odd places. Or the precision of the cuts he made. There are numerous places where he made insanely accurate cuts for notches no bigger than a few centimeters wide. I don't know how he did it but he even installed slivers of tile under a window above my sink for the sake of being the perfectionist that he is. The pictures don't really do a good job of showing how much his work brightened up my kitchen. But he's made our kitchen look significantly better.
