Oneway Structural & Construction

After consulting with a few companies for our project, we chose Oneway Structural and Construction to help with our LONG planned project.
Although they were not the lowest price, we had a good feeling about Oneway and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Every one was so helpful and made the whole process so easy.
Our house was treated with so much respect and our final results are stunning.
The attention to detail is incredible, I now notice details I never thought of before. Thank you so much. We recommend Oneway to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy company.

They gave me plans to remove my wall for 10k, I paid 50% upfront. Once the wall was opened up the plans they gave me clearly would not work. They did not account for the mechanical systems in my walls. Since I paid upfront $5k I am trying to get my money back but they are ignoring all of my calls and emails.

I just wanted to say thank you everyone at Oneway. It was such a pleasant experience working with them. Super professional and caring for our home. We will be renovating our first floor with them within the year, very excited.

From the very first meeting, we were impressed with their knowledge, project management process, transparent pricing, and plan for staying in constant communication with us throughout the project. His team continued to impress us throughout the two month project. We would recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their home.

Everyone was knowledgeable about their craft, polite, accommodating to our needs and always cleaned up after themselves.

We are very happy with our basement, which includes a playroom, media room, guest bedroom, bathroom, and storage space. We would hire them again without hesitation.

Most honest and reliable contractor I have ever dealt with. Never leaves a mess behind which also made the wife happy. They are very professional and took care of my whole project without me worrying. I had to take the time to share our experience since it's so challenging finding good and honest companies now a days.
This is by far the best experience my husband and I had with a construction company.
We initially contacted Oneway to perform a small renovation project which led to an almost whole house reno.
We contacted them as a friend of mine had referred this company. They quickly gave us the attention to get the ball rolling and were very informative and passionate.
We consulted with at least 5 other companies; even though Oneway wasn't the cheapest, we had a good feeling about them, and our feelings weren't wrong. There were some challenges during the pandemic and some delays in scheduling and materials however the wait was worth the whole while.
Oneway took care of all planning, permits, inspections, etc. One thing that I was very impressed was how our home was kept so clean and safe every day, having small children and pets this is so IMPORTANT!!
We couldn't be happier with the results and experience we had during our dream renovation. Our home is so cozy and the workmanship is beyond words.
I have already referred Oneway to family and friends and will continue to do so without hesitation.

We hired One way for a complete remodel that involved tearing everything down to the studs and replacing every aspect of the old kitchen; it was quite a big job, and we could not be happier with how it turned out!

They were fantastic to work with and very professional and responsive throughout the entire process.

Took our money and ran…The other horrific reviews you may have see are true, and we are now in the process of taking them to court.

To begin Welsey and Diela were extremely responsive when we called for a quote they arrived within a few days to inspect, we we're extremely hopeful and on the face of things they seems responsive and competent.

After we paid the deposit 50% over $6,000 then the slue of excuses came about.

We paid the deposit on November 5th, and were told because its such a quick easy job that it would only take a few weeks. Then they stated:
- The materials couldn’t be delivered
-Vacations
- Then covid cases
- Then saying there were provincial rules that didn’t exist preventing them doing the work.
- Then blamed the protests downtown (we don’t live down town…)
And many more...I can accept an excuse here and there as things change, jobs take longer than expected and covid etc , we were very patient, but now its been 5 and a half months...

At one point they offered a refund but told us, we were next on the priority list, so the option was ours. We then gave them the benefit of the doubt because finding a new contract would also be tough, and said we would like to continue.

It’ now been over 2 months since they responded to us, they have avoided all my calls in the last 4 or 5 months, respond occasionally to emails...just enough to give me hope they would actually turn up.

So right now, im stuck in the middle where they have taken 50% and aren't responding. So unfortunately we have to go down the litigation route which we are in the process of.

Oneway and the crew were amazing to work with. They handled my remodel project with the utmost care. They met me onsite to gather scope of work and got me a quote back in a timely manner. They were extremely transparent throughout the entire renovation process. Once completed I was extremely impressed with the quality of work and service they provided as a team. I can't wait to use them again in the future.
