We transformed our unfinished basement into a recreation area, 3-pc bathroom, and bedroom while also expanding two windows to be egress-compliant. Kal worked with us to create a floorplan and 3D model that suited our family needs. Any renovation project will encounter ups and downs throughout but our greatest impression coming away from this project is that of Elfarro's honesty and integrity. Kal is great with communication (call, txt, email) and helped come up with solutions to hurdles along the way. This included bringing in additional teams to add extra support around windows when the city inspectors changed their mind last minute, re-tiling our bathroom when we encountered grout cracking issues over the subfloor, and installing the windows a 2nd time after the first set had warping issues from the manufacturer. All three cases were at no additional cost to us... he insisted on honouring his original estimate and agreement. A second thing we really appreciated was that he and all his crews were very family-friendly. They even went so far as to confirm when our baby would be napping and delay using large power tools around that. Finally, we're quite happy with the quality of the finished product. Flooring, drywall, painting, etc all look really good. We have no hesitation proudly showing off the space to friends and family. If you are looking for someone who is honest, family-friendly, and will stop at nothing to ensure your satisfaction... I would highly recommend considering Kal at Elfarro Design-Build.

We hired Elfarro Design in the spring to renovate our master bathroom and help us with some flooring changes. We are very happy with the result and the work that was finished. The team worked hard and finished within the promised time. They stayed on budget and were quick to report any unexpected changes for approval. We will certainly use them again in the future!

We hired Kal and his team to renovate our kitchen and take out a load-bearing wall. He was very professional and listened to all our needs. We subbed out our entire semi detached build project to Elfarro Designs. They took the project from permits to occupancy. We expected some delays between trades however it wasn't too bad. The team kept everyone on track and did a good job communicating with me.

I found Kal through a friend who recommended me to him because he had his kitchen renovated with his company. There was a delay in the project but it wasn't his fault as the flooring we chose was backordered from the supplier. Aside from that, Kal was always quick to answer us and we felt comfortable with him in our home and the trades while we were away. The cost was reasonable and the project didn't take long considering the basement was unfinished and ready to finish. He also has the most adorable kids if you have a chance to meet them.

Kal and his team were very willing to work with us to develop a slightly less-conventional bathroom design for our ensuite bathroom. The project manager, Ahmed, was a great resource and leader for the work. He worked hard to find the best contractors for the job that were also the right-fit for us, since we were at home during the work. We have already recommended Elfarro Design-Build to our friends and neighbours, and have enjoyed showing off their work.

We had Elfarro Design Build renovate our kitchen, main floor powder room and update the flooring on our main floor also. Overall very pleased with the final results. Thank you To Kal, Ahmed and his team - we wouldn’t hesitate to contact them again for any future work.

This is my second time using Elfarro Design-Build in my home. Kal and his team did an excellent job installing a new window into my basement, that turned a dull den, into a bright legal bedroom. I would definitely use him again if I need to do any more renos!
