Had a rather tricky issue with an old Moffat gas dryer which Adriano was able to successfully troubleshoot and repair. He took the time to show and explain the issue as well as his testing of the repair.

I had trouble finding a repair-person who was capable of servicing a Thermador. The Appliance Guy, also reviewed on Home Stars, gave me Adriano's phone number--i.e., DeSi Appliance Services-- and he was able to come soon, arrived on time, diagnosed the problem with 2 burners, replaced parts, and was on his way. Prompt, efficient, pleasant.

Very courteous service. Arrived on time. Diagnosed problem immediately and worked diligently to resolve. Perfect service. Inexpensive and timely. Work completed was on a Thermador cooktop range hood which can be very expensive if serviced by the company's standard contractors. Also identified and resolved -- without charge -- another issue associated with the cooktop bbq. Would highly recommend.

GE dryer - lesson learned, buy the 5 year warranty. Never thought a gas dryer would die 13 months of use. Welcome to the new appliance industry. Faulty igniter. Last gas dryer lasted 16 years. Should have called Adriano for that fix, but did not know such great professional people who are honest and do a great job for a fair price existed in Toronto! I have no issue paying, but sending me someone who reads a manual upon their arrival no thanks. Adriano came when stated, fixed the issue, walked me through the problem and left the my room as he found it. Fair price for the fix. No hidden costs or gas surcharges. If I get another 5 years out of this before another fix glad to pay this company over the warranty people who typically send JR guys who bill you per second! If your appliance is out of warranty call Adriano first!

LG Fridge. 10 years plus 2 months old. LG sends over recommend Toronto authorized JR service rep. Upon arrival asks me for the manual. OMG – at that point should have told him to leave. Charges me for gas surcharge! OK that is a clear issue in my books. Tells me I need a new door per LG to fix broken wire in the door. LG states door no longer available, buy a new fridge? 6K...really...for a broken wire? Adriano to the rescue. 2nd checkup, looks at the issue and determines he can fish another wire through the door and splice it. Since this wire is not readily available needs to come back, but he fixes the door via wire outside the door (looks ok too) and gets me going! Adriano comes back two weeks later and as promised fixes the door. Saves me 6k and a new fridge, which I don’t really need (plus the environment too). What a complete waste of money that would have been if I listened to the authorized service tech and LG. Shame on both of them for not supporting me or thinking out side of the box to fix the issue. What you get when a JR service rep shows up who is more concerned on how many service calls he is going to make in one day then helping his customers out. When in doubt call Adriano to get you out!

Professional, pleasant, efficient - does great work with integrity and competence. No hidden costs, walks you through the process clearly. Adriano was able to fix my dishwasher for just a fraction of the cost of what another appliance repair company quoted (and was not able to fix, I might add). My dishwasher works beautifully now - did not have to get it replaced. He even fixed a leak under my sink. What more could you ask for? I'm super satisfied.

What can I say very nice guy, professional and customer service oriented with very fair prices on parts. He repaired my condo appliances in a timely manner. Would highly recommend.

After diagnostic testing, Adriano informed us that the drain pump on our 13 year old front load washer was dead. He was able to help us make a decision about whether to move ahead with the repair or purchase a new washer (we went with the latter). He was professional and honest and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

We called a few places to find out about repairing our washing machine and were told that the repair was too complicated. (FYI, don't buy a Maytag Bravos). Adriano was recommended by another appliance repair company.

He was prompt, thorough, professional, and willing to stay the course until the repair job was done. I make this recommendation with no reservations and will be sure to tell any friends in need of appliance repair services to give him a call.

We were referred by Joe The Appliance Guy as he was unable to come to the east end (he'd just done some jobs here and wouldn't be making his way back for a bit). He said he knew Adriano to be honest and do really good work and sure enough, only 24 reviews but very good reviews.

We'd already had a horrible experience with another company (got a partial refund for their work) before calling Adriano. He was able to come the next day and quickly identified that although our problem was a non-functioning spin cycle, even if he fixed that the bearings were going. He could have fixed it and been paid much more than the $75 diagnostic but was incredibly honest and told us we'd be better off buying a new machine. Quite a contrast to the first company that wanted us to keep throwing parts (and money) at the spin cycle problem.

Adriano came by the house within hours of a phone conversation during which I explained my problem to him. He was on time, professional and polite. He took apart part of the washing machine and quickly corrected the problem. His price was very reasonable.

I was very relieved to find him because I'd talked to another highly rated appliance repair person I found on Homestars a couple of days earlier. This person diagnosed the problem over the phone, told me the part that was apparently needed was no longer available and that we'd need to buy a new washing machine!

I told Adriano all this in advance when we talked on the phone but he took the time to see for himself and fix the problem.

He will be our go-to person for all our appliance repairs going forward.
