Eric did a beautiful job painting. Communication was a bit lacking, but Neil was very receptive to our thoughts/advice on this front. Also, we we were unhappy with the colour (our fault) but they redid the job with a new colour at a very reasonable cost, so in the end we were very satisfied. Both times, the paint job itself was second to none and we would recommend Eric as a painter and Carter Painting to anyone.

Scope of Work - The work involved the application of 2 coats of paint to all walls of my house.

Review - From the first visit to the job completion, the Owner, Neil Carter was involved in the project. His main objective was ensuring that we were comfortable with our selections, price, cleanliness, quality of work and overall satisfaction. He would check in regularly to ensure this commitment to his Clients.

Neil's paint staff are very experienced and efficient. I appreciate the fact that they would remove the wall coverings, protect them with a drop cloth and return them when the paint was dry. That is in addition to moving, protecting and returning furniture.

I'm very pleased with this team of professionals and would recommend them to my closest friends and family.

Eric and Marco were exceptional painters - very particular about their work and very willing to do any extra painting that arose during the renovation. When I needed the dining room completed for a special event, Eric stayed very late the previous evening to ensure our home was ready. On return from a day of work, I always walked into a clean and tidy home. I will be recommending Carter Painting to my friends.

Basement had "popcorn" ceilings AND walls, and beadboard all around, painted dark green (in a dark basement). Horrible. Neil's team mudded and sanded, mudded again and sanded again and then primed and painted with my choice of colours and brand. Perfect! No more ugly popcorn! The crew were fun to work with and even helped me learn how to use my new electric mitre saw (I was putting in new baseboards) and also loaned me a nail gun to finish my part of the basement renewal. All very professional. Will use again on my other popcorn ceilings. Perhaps more expense than others, but the team came on the day we agreed upon, arrived at work at 8:00 a.m. Each of the five days they were here, and when I needed a bit of a touch up in one small area, Neil arranged to have that done immediately.
