Very professional group of people who came in to fix my dishwasher. I appreciated how they took the time to write down the issues they found with the dishwasher and outlined the costs I would be paying in order to fix it. Thank you for being transparent about your services and doing your job!

Was told by operator at company that parts where available to repair my washer so I asked for a repairman to come over. Again, I was reassured by the repairman that the parts were available. He takes my $310 and say the parts will be ordered. Several calls later I finally get ahold of someone who tells me the parts are unavailable. When I ask for my money back I got the big no way, I am going to legally go after this company. If any other people out there have been ripped off by them as well feel free to contact me.

Thanks to these folks here at Appliance Repair Guys, my dryer works after many hours of fretting over potentially having to buy a new one. My dryer just never seemed to heat up properly. My clothes ended up taking twice as long to dry, even at the highest setting. When I called this business, they spent time analyzing my machine thoroughly while also listening carefully to my accounts of what was wrong with the machine. After they fixed it, they took the time to check-in with me a couple days later to make sure their work addressed the issues I complained about. Thank you for your wonderful service.

Very long story short: charged us $650 to repair our fridge, replaced 2 parts, "fixed" it Thursday night (May 23 2014), still not working as of Friday morning. Called to report, told it's a "warranty call" and that I'd have to wait up to 48 hrs for a return call. It's been over 48 hours, no return call. Had another repair person look at it in the meantime, and was told the parts replaced were useless and unnecessary since the fridge is leaking gas and is un-repairable (or not worth it financially). So they charged us $650 for an unnecessary repair, and have not honoured their "warranty" service. I have had to buy a new fridge since as I have two small children and have been without a fridge for a week. According to many other reports, their M.O. seems to be to say they're charging $80 for the service call, but very quickly it turns into $280 labour plus parts. I'm 100% positive that if they had come out for the warranty call, they'd tell me I needed another expensive part plus labour and I'd be in this loop de loop with them all over again. They have 35 other similar complaints on the Better Business Bureau and many complaints on HomeStars. No smoke without fire, I say.

Nothing can describe how grateful I am for Appliance Repair Guys. My worst nightmare occurred when my refrigerator stopped working all of a sudden one day. I tried fixing it myself as I did not want to consider the idea of paying for professionals to repair my fridge. Unfortunately, my repairs just wouldn't get my fridge to turn on for good.

I ended up calling Appliance Repair Guys and I'm so glad I did. They helped me fix my fridge in no time and were great in detailing just where my money was going towards in terms of repairing my fridge. I am so glad that they were prompt between my call to them and fixing the fridge. Thank you all for helping me out.

I am so thankful for Appliance Repair Guys. I'm a stay-at-home mom who loves to bake all day for my family and friends. So, as a result, when my poor gas oven broke down and couldn't heat up as normal, that drove me nuts (and make me cry a little, I"ll admit).

These repair workers were quick and efficient in regards to identifying my problem and fixing it afterwards. They did such a great job that they even got my oven to work even better than before!

I literally broke down crying when I found out that my Kenmore dishwasher needed repairs. I hated the idea of having to buy a new one and so I called up this appliance repair business after a recommendation from a friend.

My dishwasher was fixed (and more) because of these folks! I think what made them stand out for me was the fact they sat down with me first and asked me questions to make sure I thoroughly identified all the problems I was having with my dishwasher. Afterwards, they examined my machine and clearly outlined what would be done to completely repair my machine and did as such.

Thanks Appliance Repair Guys for my fully-functioning dishwasher (and relieving a happy girl from buying a new one)!

Ridiculous! Borderline fraudulent behavior! Worst rating a company can get with the Better Business Bureau for a reason! Do NOT do business with this company! They take advantage of your situation by questionable quoting techniques, do not return calls or customer service line goes dead!
Again. You might as well drop your money in the garbage as they charge you 280$ min. even for the smallest 15min job!! And if they happen to not have the parts, you still pay 280 and then wait forever for them to come back!! I just hope they will be out of business shortly as they should be!

Helped me a big time and made me save serious money! Were able to fix my oven the same day. I recommend these guys if you need your appliances to be fixed. Very professional, fast and great service.

May 7, 2014 - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF, TERRIBLE TO DEAL WITH.

First off, my fault for not checking reviews on line or I never ever would have used this company. I had them come to my home to look at my washing machine, showing the LE error code. The service repair guy determined that the hall sensor had to be replaced. I don't even know if this guy was licensed or not, no proof of it. Off course it would cost me $280 plus the part. I signed to go ahead for the work, but I told him I would be calling the office and deal with the cost of the repair. The worker gave me the indication that something would be done in regards for the excessive charge of $280 and part price. I called the office, of course they will do nothing in regards for the excessive overpriced repair, that they charge by job and we signed - but I only agreed to go ahead with the job because of the service persons indication that the office would do something about the charge. When I booked the job, I asked approximate job costs and what they start at, they did not say that EVERY JOB STARTS AT A $280.00 charge. They are very misleading to the customer, they should be up front and say, WE DON'T CHARGE ANY LESS THAN $280 PER JOB, but they are very sneaky in how they give their answers, they are very deceptive and give their customers the wrong idea. I would NEVER NEVER DEAL with this company, run away as fast as you can and don't get ripped off by their sneaky deceptive ways. They do not know how to treat their customers. So, I tried to get the price adjusted, nothing done from their end. I have written this review, warning any future customers NOT to deal with this shady company. Other companies that I called said this was a $175 job, no more than that, we were severely over charged, we gave every company this companies name so that would be aware of the overcharging of another company and also to pass the word around withing their trade of what this company is doing.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF, THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THEY SEND UNLICENSED SERVICE PEOPLE TO YOUR HOUSE.
