Like many other customers who provided a review for this company, I feel I was taken advantage of and extorted out of money by this company. Upon arrival, the repair man opened up my microwave to investigate and let me know what it would cost to repair it. He quoted me a labour cost of $260 to fix the microwave and mentioned that parts (if needed) would be extra. I subsequently agreed to this mostly because the $80 fee for the repair man to come out and provide the quote is waived if you decide to proceed with the repair. However, 10 minutes later, he told me that the whole motherboard would need to be completely replaced and that it would cost about $700 in parts to fix. This after performing his initial investigation. I told him to stop his work after receiving this information and he forced me to still pay the originally quoted cost of $260+tax, even though he did not fix the microwave.
I want to add that purchasing a brand new mircowave (same brand) would only cost $495.
I called and spoke to the manager, Elona, and she was unhelpful and kept putting words in my mouth to attempt to make her argument. This was a complete waste of time and an extremely annoying conversation that only further angered me.
This is by far the WORST COMPANY I've ever dealt with.
This is the first time I've written an online review. Although I've received poor service or products in the past, it takes a lot to disappoint me to the point where I feel it is worth my time to complain about it. I hope this review helps other avoid being extorted by this company. I also plan on also contacting the better business bureau.
I suggest that you look elsewhere if you are searching for appliance repair.
