At best, I would call them ethically dubious. The buttons on my washer were all unresponsive (which I later found out was a simple control lock function.) Technician arrived, said he had taken a look at the washer, but I would need to pay a flat $280 fee for the repair. I was not present - the technician would not proceed until our caregiver signed the consent form. He called back two minutes later saying it was functioning properly again. I asked him how he "fixed" it so quickly and he told me that he held a certain button in for five seconds to disengage the control lock. Of course, since I had agreed to the repair fee, there was nothing I could do. A completely sketchy way to do business. Their customer service person did not care in the slightest and wouldn't budge on the fee.
