They did a great job with a patio door with built-in blinds and a smaller window in our spare bathroom. Would go with them again to replace other windows/doors in the future.

We hired Fortress to replace our two bedroom windows, and one dining room window (awning style). From the getgo, Richard was very professional and helpful. He gave us different options for various budgets. He was honest and we felt comfortable sharing with him our goals and also our budget. Richard was great to work with and easily accessible! Our team of installers were Alex, Edward and another gentleman. They did such an excellent job! They were professional and meticulous with their work. They respected our home and tidied up before they left, which left less work for me..and more time to enjoy my 3 beautiful windows. We are so happy! Needed replacement basement windows plus egress basement window. Other companies couldn't/ wouldn't do the egress. They offered no solutions only standard sizes that wouldn't work. Fortress had done a neighbour's and called me back and came out to discuss options and a quote. Courteous, friendly and great workmanship.

As a first time home buyer the house we purchased needed a lot of help. Finding the right team to replacing all the windows and 2 doors was overwhelming. The other service providers we contacted were either way too expensive for our budget or were unable to find a solution for our unique basement door size. Fortress gave us a ton of confidence from the beginning. Steve came for the initial assessment and answered all of our questions and let us know he would find out what's possible for the basement door. He let us know from the beginning that service delays from the pandemic would impact the installation timeline, but we were happy to wait for the right team. We are so glad we did. The team of installers were incredible. Our house presented some challenges on the day of, which they worked through diligently and kept us informed throughout. They showed us how to use each window and how to maintain them. It's been a few months since the install and we couldn't be happier. They are beautiful and we've received lots of compliments. The two doors installed are perfect as well. I've already recommended Fortress to friends and family.

Richard came and assessed my windows and doors, he advised me on pricing and discussed options. When learning that I was going to put my house up for sale he provided more options and discussed whether it was advisable to do this at this time and whether I'd get a return on my investment. I had two old bedroom windows that were installed in 1992 and needed to be replaced. I saw an ad from Fortress checked out their reviews and decided to call them. Steve answered told him what I wanted and he was over in 45 minutes. We talked liked what I heard and signed the contract. What you want from a company is quality products and professional installers. Well they definitely provided both. The windows were well made and were definitely quality windows. Now the installers. They came early in the morning and brought us coffee. Now that never happened with all the tradesman I have had over the years. These guys had years of experience and did an amazing job. Just watching them I was totally impressed with their workmanship. Clean up was as if they were never there. Explained the window operation and asked if I had any questions. Well I guess you can guess I would definitely recommend them for any window installation. Thanks Steve and crew for a job well done.

For some reason one of the patio doors shifted slightly with a gap between the frame and the door. When I contacted them, they came out RIGHT AWAY to fix it. Responding to their work done nearly 2 years ago so promptly and kindly, I can't thank you enough. Thank you, Steve.
