GTA Landscaping

Marco and his team did a phenomenal job this fall for us. We had a relatively small job only needed some grading (approx 10' x 40'), new sod and interlock repair after removing an old hot tub and noticing some pooling water last spring.

Marco was professional, polite and was one of the hardest working contractors we have had the pleasure to deal with. He was extremely professional and took care of every aspect of the job, making sure it was completed on time. These guys can absolutely be trusted to get the job done right.

Vlad was very patient during the appointment and explained different options for the front porch steps and stair railings replacement that we needed. All the recommendations from Vlad were professional. He responded to my inquiries. The cost was reasonable. All the working process was well organized. I am very satisfied with the result and recommend GTA Landscaping.

It was a company with which it was easy to work. They listened and hear all our needs, designed, installed and launch the lights exactly as discussed. It was an excellent job. I have met with a few companies we were disappointed but GTA Landscaping met our expectations. Thank you, Vlad!

Vlad and his team worked efficiently. They didn't rush check each step to be sure that job done properly. They constantly perform vacuuming and sweeping to keep our property neat. Vlad communicated to us regularly through calling to let us know when they would come to complete the next step. We are very happy with the quality of their work!

We got a custom back yard done by Paul and the team. The workers had a great work ethic, and completed the project in a timely manner. Our backyard has been transformed into a scenic and lovely area for the whole family to enjoy. We love it. Thank you

Bad, bad experience...would not recommend....Had some backyard work and a deck done....the deck construction was good quality, however, the height was wrong from what I had requested and all the weeds which were supposed to be cleared out with no regrowth were back within a few days. Alex was prompt to respond after I gave negative review and appeared eager to resolve the issues, however that is where it ended. Pleaded with me to change the review. Despite promises to fix everything, the landscaping and clean up was not corrected (oh, sorry...I guess our product didn't work!) nor was any effort made to correct it or reimburse me funds. Then, they claimed to Homestars that I was not a customer of theirs! I had to send copies of the emails, invoice, and payment history to show I was telling the truth! I ended up having to pay an additional $2000 to get the deck fixed, and still garbage was left, the original yard clean up was not completed, nor was the rectification done as promised. I ended up spending over $13,000 basically just for a deck which should have cost half that price. I feel like I was utterly taken advantage of and significantly overcharged and I chose GTA based primarily on their high rating with Homestars....and now due to this experience, I am suspect of homestars reviews as well.

I hired this company to remove my old deck, build a new one and install some landscape lighting. It was a relatively small job that Vlad said in late April would only take a few days and that they would be able to start the following week. They did not start for 2 months, and once they started work, it took them 6 more weeks to finish it. They seldom came when they said they would, and the usual excuse was that they had extra work to do on other jobs. Finally they finished the work but their small bulldozer left a big stain on the cobblestones. Vlad assured me they would clean it up (see attached sample text), but they have not done so, and now Vlad does not respond to my texts.

We hired Vlad from GTA Landscaping for deck work and concrete steps to be completed within the last two weeks of October 2018. It took two months instead. On some days no one showed up for work as expected, even when the weather was optimal.
Materials were not readily available, and some of the work showed little attention to detail. As the photo below shows, the concrete steps are now flaking, uneven and unsafe.
Vlad offers a two year warranty on the work but that is of no use so far. To date, Vlad has not responded to any of our to phone calls, text messages or emails. If he has visited our property since the completion of work, it is without our knowledge.
The best aspect of the job was Alex, the carpenter, who was hardworking. Overall, we are disappointed. We would not recommend GTA Landscaping based on our experience, which was unnecessarily stressful.
