WOW FROM THE TIME THAT IAN OF WINDSOR SHOWED UP AT MY DOOR TO AERATE TO JAMES AND HIS PARTNER SHOWING UP TO FERTILIZE AND OVER SEED THESE GUYS HAVE BEEN GREAT. EVEN MY VERY ARTICULATE NEIGHBOR COMMENTED ON THERE PROFESSIONALISM. THANK-YOU CANADIAN PROPERTY STARS

I decided to go with this company after a long conversation with one of their door-to-door salesmen and for what I thought was a very competitive price.

After the first significant snow fall in late December, the first two passes the driver completed much left to be desired. Only half of our double-wide driveway was done (even though we had paid for the full width) and a fair bit of snow was left on the side that had received attention. I sent the company before and after photos (after my wife and I shovelled) to demonstrate the proper length and width of what needed to be done. The company was initially receptive to my concerns and indicated the photos would be sent to the driver.

I wanted to give this company the benefit of the doubt, given they were new to snow removal. However, I was routinely left disappointed by the state of my driveway after any snow amount. Not once was the full width of my driveway plowed, despite markers and banks clearly showing the boundaries on each side. After only two emails, the company became less attentive to my concerns and stopped communicating altogether.

The final kick-in-the-pants was during a recent ice-and-snow event in late-March, where almost 7cm of precipitation fell. The company didn't once show up, and I don't believe there trucks were out at all (judging by their gps app); however, everyone of their competitors were active in my neighbourhood.

So, in short, save your time and money next winter and go with a more reputable company.

I have used their aeration service for a few years, but have to reconsider future service if their customer service doesn't improve drastically. Two years in a row now, NO phone call as promised to let me know when they were coming. I have a dog and care for several children so I would have appreciated the heads up phone call they offered me when I booked in February. No phone call means I wasn't ready with the cash I wanted to pay with. Trying to get a call through to the toll free number on my invoice has been unsuccessful. My $80 became $84, but I am going to assume that GST in now on top instead of included to give these guys the benefit of the doubt.

This is a company that allows their door to door representative to negotiate fees without a standard quotation. I get wiggle room (as head office has indicated based on the success of your negotiating skills) but charging 50% more for the same services for the same size lot is ridiculous. Not only is the pricing ridiculous so was the service. Not to ever be used again

I used Canadian Property Stars last spring for my lawn aeration and used them again this year. They were prompt and actually cost less than quoted.

I will use them again next year.

The service was slow and on two separate occasions they hit our garage with the plow.
We have called emailed and written our complaint to the company with no answers. If we call Custer service they tell us to call head office and no one answer's.
I wouldn't record this company to anyone !

2 years ago they came to my door asking if I wanted my lawn aerated. It was cheap so I said ok. Last year they called and wanted to know if I wanted to pay in advance to have it done again. I thought it would be more convenient because I don't normally have cash at home so I said ok and pre-paid. When they came and did the service, they did not do the narrow strip on the other side of my driveway !! I called and complained since I had paid for a full job. They offered to come back but I did not think it was worth the time for someone to come back so I said don't bother. This year I pre-paid again and today they did the same thing !! I guess if they get their money in advance then they figure they can do less of a job !! I WILL NOT BE USING THIS COMPANY ANYMORE !!!!!!

PROPERTY STARS GETS NO STARS FROM ME !!!

Disgusting!!!! We emailed and called to cancel the service and received a confirmation call to say the service was cancelled. They still came to the house while no one was home and continued to aerate the lawn. Then when my son came home proceed to take all the cash he had and left no invoice or anything- so basically took all my sons money without giving him a receipt! Now miraculously no one answers the phone. BEWARE! Shadiest company we have ever dealt with!!

This company is almost a disaster, I say "almost" because they did came 3 times during the whole winter, with a pick-up mounted with shovel which can only clean half of the driveway. The only thing they did well is sending email whenever there was a snow storm coming. But they just NEVER came after the snow storm. I pretty much ended up with shovel the snow by myself for every single heavy snow, while watching my neighbor's drive way cleared like a basketball court because he used other snow removal company.

They signed me up for what I though was a good deal to plow my driveway for the season so I unfortunately I talked 2 of my neighbors into signing up with them as well. Never once did they plow any of our driveways this winter. I called to complain and had to leave a Voice Mail. Eventually a young lady supervisor named Lee call me back and I when I told her my complaint and my neighbors she countered with a huge list of times and dates that they supposedly provided service which they did not. She was extremely condescending and talked nonsense and said "well I guess we just have a difference of opinion and it's just semantics". I then did some research on the internet about Property Stars and found this website full of horrible reviews. I called Lee back to inform her of all the negative reviews on Home Stars about their company and as I was reading her some of the unflattering titles she simply hung up on me! I am now calling the fraud squad to find out if the police can help.
