Rand Electric

We had a ventilation fan installed on a new switch and had wiring re-worked in our main bathroom. Rand did an amazing job with the work accurate to the quote, completed the work on time, and did a thorough cleanup. I highly recommend Rand. This is the second time I've used them and they are always responsive.

The service we received was so exceptional we felt it was worth mentioning. Every person we dealt with was extremely polite, pleasant and professional. They were very punctual and completed the work in the time that was given. Their price is more than reasonable considering the excellent quality and service we received. Great service! After working on our electrical panel (we had lost power to a portion of our kitchen); Dave checked our other breakers for major appliances and found an additional one that didn't have power that we hadn't realized. As our home is older, he advised that some of the outlet's in kitchen's of homes the age of ours were set-up with different voltages/uses, so he then checked all of outlets in our kitchen to ensure that they were updated and correct. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Dave was honest in what needed to be done at that moment, what items weren't an issue and things that we should probably look at updating within a few years.

Can't say enough about this company! A great experience from start to finish. Our first contact was with Jennifer in the office who was friendly, professional and very accommodating. We set up an appointment with Andy to come out and look at the work needed. He was on time (unlike the other company we had quote) knowledgeable and had some great suggestions. We were planning on upgrading from 100 to 200 amp which was advised by a friend but Andy assured us that this was overkill and not necessary. His honest advise was refreshing in a world where everyone is always trying to "upsell". Although the quoted price was higher than his competitor, it was fair, ]professional and had a better warranty. Overall we felt far more comfortable with Rand for the job. Their electrician Shane who performed the work was awesome! He was on time, polite and very personable. His work was top notch and when he left the area was cleaner than when he got there!. He even wore covers over his boots to protect our floors. They also took care of the permit and arrangements with hydro. We've had many trades in our home over the years and these guys stood above the crowd. I've already referred them to my sister for her panel and would recommend them to anyone else needing electrical work. They are our go to electricians from now on!

I called Rand Electric when we were having issues with the outlets in our kitchen. They were quick to schedule a service call. The technician showed up on time and assessed the issues and gave me an estimate before making any repairs. He was very professional and took the time to educate me on what the issue was. The electrical service to my rental property was wiped out in the ice storm . I needed restoration immediately or I would loose all my plumbing etc. Rands people were beyond amazing , they went over and above and stuck to the estimate price. I called Rand electric to wire my new detached garage. They came out and gave me a quote right away. The work was scheduled and completed within a few weeks from my original call. After purchasing a swim spa we discovered that it could not be hooked up to our old fuse panel. We did an upgrade to 200 amps but also had to have our meter moved from inside to outside. Rand electric looked after everything and made all the necessary scheduling times with Veridian. We found all the staff from Rand, electricians and office staff to be very friendly. Everyone always showed up when they said they would. We were very pleased with the work Rand provided us.
