Bill came to my house seen everything that had to be moved. I had a 3200sq ft house. The day of the move, the movers came and said no way will this fit into one truck. Apparently this has happen before. I was quoted $2755. The wanted to charge me in the end almost $7000. I had to fight to pay only $5200. Bill tells me there is an estimate of 80 boxes you had more. He knew how big the house was and seen everything that was in the house. My daughter will be moving shortly and Toronto Van Lines will not be part of that move. On another note the workers were wonderful.

Yes, this job was underestimated due to the following reasons:
1. There was more content then originally estimated. Which was later found out was the customers son’s apartment content.
2. A moving Manager went to customers home on the day of the move and customer agreed to the second truck that would hold contents from the son’s apartment.
3. After both trucks were loaded customer found out that the new house did not close, as a result Toronto VanLines were left storing the content in our 2 trucks for days.
4. When customer finally closed and we offloaded all contents we gave customer a substantial discount. The customer was not charged for storing the contents on the second 2nd truck.Toronto VanLines Moving Team
