THIS IS OUR 3RD STORE RENNOVATION FOR SWITCH THAT STEVE AND HIS TEAM HAS COMPLETED FOR US. HE AND HIS CREW ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THE WORK IS BANG ON. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We were very fortunate to have Steve Kampf of Kampf Contracting take charge of our renovations this past summer. His work was meticulous, with great attention to detail in both finish and design. Steve was very flexible when it came to small changes in plans and made a number of welcome suggestions which improved the overall renovation.

Despite going on holidays, we were able to put complete trust in Steve, knowing that the work would continue in our absence and to our complete satisfaction. Whether the job involved carpentry (Steve's talent), electrical, or stonework, the workmanship was superb, frequently drawing comments and praise from neighbours and passersby.

Ours was a wide-ranging renovation, involving several different trades during two months of construction. Aspects of the renovation included the following:

* second story deck (red cedar)
* garage re-wired, insulated, and dry-walled
* gas line rough-in for fireplace conversion
* garage door replacement
* garage floor epoxy finish
* side gate
* concrete double driveway
* exterior parging below brick line
* exterior stone veneer (front)
* new porch railing
* front landscaping with inter-lock and flagstone front entrance
* new light post and outdoor fixtures including spots and sensor
* lift and re-lay of rear inter-lock problem areas with the
application of polymeric sand and sealant

Steve is well connected to the various trades and suppliers, and only deals with those whom he considers up to his high standards. His prices were more than fair and he often threw in a few extras for little or no additional cost. We are absolutely thrilled with the make-over.

To sum it all up, Kampf Contracting is top-notch and I can highly recommend this business.

The job I had Kampf construction do for me was a little bit out of the ordinary.I required concrete stairs formed that would go down to an opening to an unheated basement or crawl space.As well I required all the walls and ceiling to be insulated.The doorway had to be framed and a custom made door installed.As well a custom weather proof door was required to cover the stairs to the basement.Steve did a great job on the carpentry work and the cement work was done by an associate.Hihly recommended.On time and good quality work
