After having sixteen windows and a patio door installed, three words come to mind when I think of Centra Windows.... courtesy, experience and professionalism. I had the pleasure of dealing with Al Wolak, Brad McEwen, Ryan Lahn and Adam Boudreau.
Al did a superb job in measuring my windows and setting up the installation. He explained the entire installation process, left plenty of informative reading material and actually brought a window to my home so he could show me exactly what I would be getting. Not once did I feel pressured and Al encouraged me to contact him if I had any questions whatsoever. He even told me to get quotes from competitors and compare them to what Centra offered. The price Al had given me was unbeatable and his honesty sealed the deal.
Brad, Ryan and Adam came to install the windows earlier this week. They were always on time and ready to get straight to work. From the moment they entered my home, they were respectful, upbeat and professional. Before they did any work, they made sure to take down framed pictures and put them in a safe place where there was no risk of them being damaged. As they worked, I could see how much care they put into the job as they made a point not to damage any walls when removing the old windows. A concern I had prior to installation was the possibility of a window breaking while it was being removed, as I have a dog and a niece that play in my backyard. After witnessing the care in which they removed the frames and windows, my mind was set at ease. I still find it amazing that they managed to safely navigate and install a 400 lbs window despite two large trees being directly in their way.
During installation, it began to snow. To make matters worse, I live on a hill which is quite windy. Not once did the crew complain about the cold weather. Instead, they joked around with one another and had casual conversation ranging from sports to what they're going to do for dinner. Being in a room down the hall, I could still hear their conversation and it was no different then if I had been in the same room they were working in. I have worked years in sales and customer service, so I know that nothing irritates a client more then negativity. After the installation was complete, Brad took me around the house as we both inspected all of the windows. He explained how to take the window out, how to take the track out, how they are sealed and how to care for the windows......it helped me understand everything I need to know about them. Even better, he explained it in a way so that I didn't get the impression that he was talking down to me.
So the question is would I recommend Centra Windows? Well I have already recommended them to my parents as well as some neighbours who have been over to look at my new windows. From top to bottom, the Kamloops office is full of hard working, dependable individuals. They say you get what you pay for, however I feel that I got a lot more then I paid for.
