Reliance Superior Heating & Air Conditioning

Not happy with reliance superior and his service are sucks. I have to wait more than five days to fix a small job for 2.50 minutes is Ridiculous and this is my first and last service will be with reliance superior

Furnace had a catastrophic failure 10 months after installation, 2 weeks with no heat, 10 phone calls and a very irritated customer that is tired of explaining the issue to a call center 2000 km away and not getting follow up from local service department.

I would like to express my disappointment with the service of Reliance Superior. I got my ac and furnace installed in August and I am still waiting on a subpanel to be installed. I have called 4-5x expressing my concern and frustration and not only has this issue not been resolved but no one has even had the decency to provide me with a courtesy call to let me know when this subpanel is going to be installed. The bill for a subpanel was almost $500 and I don't even have it yet. I was in the phone with them again this afternoon and was told I would be receiving a call from a service technician, 2 hours later still no phone call. i have never received this kind of service anyone and I am so annoyed and irritated with the way they are handling this situation. Robert from Reliance Superior did a great job fixing my hot water tank issue. He was on-time, professional and knowledgeable. He made sure everything was working before leaving and provided a number to contact if any issues.

Our furnace and hot water tank was expertly replaced by Jaroslaw Klimek in 2011 and we called to have a check up of the furnace and have our ducts cleaned. Since we live 5 miles north of Beausejour ( a small town in the province of Manitoba about 30 minutes away from Winnipeg ) we called Reliance Superior. Initially, the gal on the phone said no problem and told us Reliance would be there the next day early morning, so we made sure we were going to be home. Then later we received a call from a different person (left a message) stating the quoted prices were incorrect and that the service call would cost more. Confused, we called the next morning and another different gal told us they could not come as scheduled because we had not agreed to the different quote (we got the message too late to respond). We then sorted out a new price based on the original quote. So we stayed home again the next day and Daniel from Reliance came. He called 1st which is good, since we live out of Winnipeg (some people do!) and again just before arriving. Daniel was excellent, polite and did the job efficiently explaining to us everything he did. He mentioned Reliance will not clean ducts anymore which is too bad as we believe he did an excellent job.

Everytime I call I was directed to call center and they seems uneducated about the questions.. Customer service is not well provided for existing client. Once the unit is installed they never ask for your reviews or comments.

Our water heater died on Sunday, July 26th, 2015. My first contact was with the salewsman Al Haufek. A very pleasant gentleman who signed us up for a rental tank. Tom Booth. the technician arrived & with his budy, installed the heater. They were very efficient & frriendly. I highly recommend this company..

A man by the Tom Booth serviced us after a door to door salesman came and told us of a deal to replace our ancient water heater. As is he was nothing less than a blessing and even through some dicey moments with my mother managed to stay cool and calm, being a true professional in all the right ways.

10/10 would very much contact again for our needs in the house.

I had a door to door salesman sell me a rental hot water tank. It would be under warranty and I would have the charge added to my hydro bill each month.

The installation went well and I had no complaints.
About a year later, we decided to sell and buy somewhere else. The new owners weren't wanting a rental so we bought out the contract for more than the tank was worth.

We bought it out before the date that reliance had set aside as the deadline since our house was in their possession before the deadline. At their deadline, they charged me a second time, I didn't have the money in my account to cover another thousand dollar payment, and the payment bounced leaving both of us with a bank fee.

About a week later, I got a call from a pleasant lady at reliance, she told me they had made a mistake and would refund me my bank fee. I hadn't even known that it had occurred, so she left me her information for me to get back to her. I saw the fees, was very impressed with their service, and decided not to call back asking for the fee since I was impressed that they had called me and admitted to their mistake.

About 6 weeks later, I get another call from someone from reliance saying I owe them money. I explained what happened, and he cut me off before I could finish and demanded credit card information saying I owe them while raising his voice. I got upset and tried to tell him what happened again, he again cut me off and rudely asked Fort information. I finally had enough and told him to send me an invoice. He aid fine and line went dead.
I ended up getting the invoice and didn't pay it since like their first customer rep said, it was their fault. I got several notices, computer calls late at night/early morning, and finally a notice saying that they were sending my account to a collections agency to get the $25 fee from me. I finally paid it just to be done with them.

I had a great experience until I had to deal with some of their customer service reps. After that encounter, I will never deal with them again (and I'm young enough that I'll likely need 5-6 hot water tanks in the future) and I would recommend not using them especially if you might sell your house at some point.
