I have been a customer of Superior since 1992. I have always been happy with their salesmen and service technicians. I even had a opportunity to purchase the same air conditioner at a cheaper price but due to Superior’s past Service I purchased it from them. I also purchased the Protection plan agreement.
However since they have transitioned to Reliance Superior I have had many issues. In 2013 I had issues getting through to central dispatch and the appointment where the service technician did not show up and I was not called and notified of the delay, and after I called looking to see when he would be arriving, the appointment was rescheduled for another day. Therefore I had two days to sit and wait for the service technician to come out. When he did come out for the air service all he did was complain about the new central dispatching. The furnace went better but I would rate it a minor 5 out of ten. Then the 2014 air conditioner check went better for the appointment he was only late on the day in question. Very poor job of servicing the air conditioner, it took about 15 minutes for this call to be completed, and he was also complaining about central dispatch. The winter service of 2014 was an improvement, more work and less complaining.
For my 2015 Air conditioner service I was shocked when I called in and found out that there was no record of my Protection plan agreement. I had to prove that I had an agreement, which I faxed in was advised of the receipt of the document, but still had to wait until the next day in order to get an appointment. While speaking the customer service reps which were very polite and professional, much better than past years, I feel that once the CSR had the document they could have made the appointment while they investigated on their end.
I must say that Daniel was very good representative for Reliance Superior on the 2015 air conditioner service. I would rate Daniel very High for the service this time.
However I have one more service paid for on my Furnace and I am not sure if I will stay with reliance superior based on their past performance. There are many companies in Winnipeg more than willing look after my equipment, with less hassle.
